PnP, consumed over 3 hours. Appearance: Clear, deep ruby. Nose: Clean, medium intensity with aromas of black raspberry, black olive, and dark earth with hints of violet. Palate: Dry, medium+ acid and tannin, medium- intensity, 14.0% abv, medium+ body with flavors of black cherry and black raspberry with a strong mineral driven backbone and a medium length finish. Still feels youthful, though I don't see the stuffing here to be a long term ager - drink now or over next 3 years.

This has come into its own since last tasting 1.5 years ago. Night and day. Now finely balanced, not as tart or as many sharp edges as before...yet still that llicorella twang.

Very nice. A good amount of fruit, medium acid, low tannin, medium-full body. Jammy, dried fruit, fig, perhaps leather. A hot-climate wine, but plush, not too "hot."

Such a nice deep red. Paired beautifully with a steak dinner but was also really rich and robust on its own. Definitely a dark fruit flavor with a very long finish.

Pop and pour, consumed over 3 hours. Nose: Medium expressiveness, dark fruit, minerals, and Asian spice. Palate: Medium-full bodied, slightly tart dark fruit attack, big mineral back-bone balances well with the up front fruit, mineral and earthy notes dominate the back-end. Finish: Medium length, dominated by minerals and tart dark fruit. Showing good balance between the fruit and mineral components, very nice QPR.

Deep claret. Note of bepper and cloves and tobacco. Abit too acid making it somewhat astringent which subsides after some air..Long finish. Interesting

Polished and full of dark fruit, but not without soul, pointing to its roasted slope origins, avoiding any baked notes, good with something hearty like a grilled steak.

Gave 3h air, changed plans, stoppered it and drank on Day 2. 90% Garnacha, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon 2% Cariñena.
Medium purple color. Fragrances of blackberry, redcurrant, sawdust, spice and a hint of vanilla. Dense and clean, with dark berries flavors on entry, citrus in the mid-palate and a very tart, but closed, finish.

Drank over two days, with notes spanning both tastings.
Intense, floral nose. Lots of red fruits behind the violet and lavender on the nose. Lurking underneath is wet earth, forest floor. Very perfumed nose, perhaps my favorite part of the wine. The earthier aspects shined more on day two, the floral aspects more on day one.
Tart red fruits on the palette: strawberry, raspberry, cranberry, grapefruit pith, violet, floral pastille. Took until day two to balance the acidity adequately for my palette. Medium-short finish. Medium-minus body. High acidity.
I enjoyed this much more on day two after leaving the bottle open for three hours on day one and using a stopper overnight. This is not a wine that I would call my style, but I feel as though it has great bones for aging, especially with the acidic structure in place. This was likely infanticide, but for $20, I was willing to experiment.

P: Med, poss MF, body; RNDISH entry with NICE, ALMOST swtish frt met by a briefly puckerish astringency which morphs into a LONG, swtly astringent finish with hints of raisins on the VERY end. Approachable now, though DESERVES into Spring '19, then drinking for 3 or so yrs more? MIGHT be limited cuisine-wise: think LH Zin. My VG/VG+, certainly more for those who cherish the style. 95 pts Jeb Dunnuck & 92 WA. [This vendor's $16.95 is as good as any on wine-searcher!]

Nose of black cherry, raisins, and wet slate. Mouth is surprisingly full, unexpected citrus with rich black cherry. Interesting for a priorat. In a good way.

Don't think this was flawed that I could tell but was just not all that good. No structure, very acidic and a little cough syrupy.

Needs to be decanted or allowed to sit in the glass for 30-60 minutes to open up the flavors and aromas

Approaching purple-ish. Acidic to the point of being somewhat sour (at the level that I like). Great plum notes, hard candy.
