Artisans of Sardinia - April 2024 (London): This was lovely and ready to go. Soft vanilla and stone fruit, ripe and fresh, quite flamboyant. Good acidity and finish. Overall a very good village

crisp and very fresh, loads of acidity here, enough to somewhat obscure the pit fruit that lurks behind. a hint, but only a hint of hazlenut on the finish.

quite floral, lots of honeyed characteristics here, with a touch of nuttiness and a nice acidic kick. the flavors are very clean and bright. very much enjoyed this.

Consistent with last tasting 18 months ago, only this has opened up, evolved, and landed in nicer balance. There is more of a tart kiwi-gooseberry note emerging on the palate and the texture has developed an oily and viscous dimension. Drink 2022-2026. Technical score: 92. Enjoyment score: 92.

Very round, mostly oak and apple on the nose. Lots of freshness in this one. Green apple, vanilla, and some distinct tropical notes….orange and pink. Really pleasant.

A nice bottle, some yellow orchard fruit and honey, the palate is dominated by the richness and roundness vs a backward acidity, not bad but was better in it’s youth if my memory serves me right.

Mainly vanilla aroma together with some clementine scent, pale yellow to golden. In the mouth vanilla is still prevailing, then orange, clementine and some apple ( I think it"s a natural wine or very similar approach), good minerality but it's missing of some more freshness. Rather long. Good one but wood was a little bit too much for my tastes.

Pale yellow. A pretty, sunny and forward nose offers aromas of green apples, red apple skin, lemon, fresh buttercups, oyster shells, crushed rocks and a little bit of toast. Medium bodied on the palate with medium+ acidity, this a little compact, but offers so much bright, lively citrus fruit and tangy acidity that it seems to disappear from the glass. In a word: satisfying.

Nez agréable et fin de fruits blancs et jaunes. Un vin équilibré, minéral mais aussi avec une belle richesse et précision avec du beau fruit avec un peu de pêches blanches en bouche, très bien. 89-90

Pale yellow. At once stylish and graceful on the nose, this offers aromas of green and yellow peaches, green apples, peach blossoms, cornflakes, fromage blanc, crushed rocks and buttered toast. Medium to medium+ bodied with medium+ acid on the palate, this is expansive and forward but still quite bright, offering flavors of peach, lemon, mineral and toast. Solid.

Opened and paired with crab cakes and fixings. Soft golden yellow color. The nose brings honey dew, butterscotch, pineapple, and grapefruit. The palate is medium, square, compact, and tight, bringing fleeting hints of green apple, lemon curd, and kiwi-lime against limestone, tangerines, and saline on the finish. Drink 2022-2028. Technical score: 92. Enjoyment score: 92.

Pale yellow. A very classic but quite complex nose offers aromas of green and yellow apple, green pear, lemon, crème fraîche, toast, vanilla and minerals. Medium bodied on the palate, this is zippy, fresh and bright with medium+ acidity, and nervier flavors of green apple, lemon juice, and crushed rocks. Impressive for Auxey.

The nose is all intense citrus and white peach. I love the shape in the mouth and the way that flavours draw into a singular point of saline minerality. It is direct and long.

Pale gold, crisp and smooth, but good acid balance. Not as much fruit as I’d expected. Went well with fish.

Clear Chardonnay character. Smooth and buttery and lemony. Not a consciousness raising experience, however. At $51 from KL it is overpriced.
