The same flavors from three years ago are still there: green apple, butterscotch, sea air, and honey almond. It’s showing it’s age pretty well. Compared to last time, I maybe get more apple cider than green apple, less butterscotch, and burnt orange peel rather than fresh lemon peel, It was fine, but nothing special. The flavors seemed a little muted. Just an ok match with Sardine pasta for St. Joseph’s day. I’m going to save my last bottle for another 3-4 years. Better closer to room temperature. Best in Riedel Chablis, decent in Grassle, but not great in Zalto white wine glass.

This was really lovely and definitely a step above my bottle 2+ years ago. It has bright acidity, a beautiful light to medium lemon yellow color and a fragrant nose that flashes raw almonds, honeysuckle, apricot and creamy vanilla. Palate has a great texture and layers of flavor that reflect the nose but a pop on the finish from the acidity and creamy almond and pear notes. I used a little of this in a sausage, mushroom and cream sauce that I added to some spinach and cheese ravioli. Long, persistent and delicious!

Straw yellow color. Aromas of apples and pears, almonds and spring flowers. Ripe, medium-bodied nicely-balanced fruit in the mouth with excellent depth and length. Juicy and long on the palate. This delicious wine was a knockout with Paula’s Sicilian swordfish. Excellent value.

I have gone through half a case and not left a note....I love this wine. Minerally, floral, pear, almond. Good marriage of texture, coastal perfume, and citrus. Will improve with age. Needs air still, and not too cold.

Fresh red apples with tropical fruits and almonds. Butterscotch. Nice acidity and sea air on the finish. I mostly drank this on its own, but I think it’s better with food. Also, better with some air and on the warmer side of the spectrum.

Lovely citrus, lemon, lots of chalk & mineral-somewhat more than expected. Balanced, a bit of richness from hints of yellow stone fruit on palate but retains nice acidity. Better than my recall of prior bottle, mostly from enhanced mineral quality.

Third of 8 bottles enjoyed with a small group of friends over the afternoon and evening. This was medium plus in acidity and very refreshing. Primary flavor and aroma was ripe Anjou pear. It was quite dominant. Nice texture as usual for Fiano. Very pleasant and easy to drink, but not strikingly memorable. Perhaps better with some bottle age.

Golden peach and honey, with hints of hazelnuts, butterscotch and dough, and lots of sea air and firm lemony acidity on the finish. Pear and ginger on day 2 and it was still going strong. I love the minerality here. Compared to other fianos that I have, this wine is very opulent and rich. I thought it was oaked, but it’s aged in stainless steal. Wow! Great match with grilled branzino.

Fragrant nose of wet stone and grass. Medium body. Flavors of lemon, grapefruit, hazelnuts, vanilla extract, and a touch of butterscotch. The finish does has a bit of an astringent acidity. More time in bottle may mellow this out??

Excellent dry white wine, with verve and personality. Yellow-gold. Lovely grapefruit and sea spray in the nose. Excellent fruit with fine citrus skin, lively and mouth-watering. Juicy with fine balance and bracing acidity. I really like this a lot. 5-12-16-8: 91/100.

Drank over two nights. Strikes me as lovely, balanced, good with food or alone. Light lemon, humm maybe pear, bit of white flower, mineral. From one older and one more recent review I'd say it has softened with age. Moderate body, length, clean finish. Looking forward to trying another bottle from 6 pack.

Interesting Italian white, less dry and more fruit forward than I expected. Enjoyable, and likely would have been even better had I found a great food pairing for it.

Good but not my favorite. I bought for supposed smoky notes but didn’t get many. Held up well after being open.
