D+0h: no deposit in the filter nor in the bottle, smells of blackberry D+4h: purple red colour, on the rim quite cherry red, smells of elderberry with both a little bit of blackberry and a little bit of smoke in the background, medium body, has a little bit of residual sugar, still has some unripe tannins, in the mouth elderberry and a little bit of blackberry, in the aftertaste elderberry and a little bit of acidity, good length (30 sec). I’m kind of disappointed by this wine, perhaps it’s in a closed phase at the moment?, in any case I will let my other bottle (I think I have another of the 2016 (I’m bad a keeping track of my wine cellar)) rest for a year or two more, perhaps it will pull itself together with more time. PS: The 2016 Badia a Coltibuono Chianti Classico is much better than the 2016 Brolio and drinking beautifully right now. It might be due to a more accessible style, perhaps the Brolio simply needs more time.

Better than anticipated based on other tasting notes. This is a very drinkable, every day Chianti at a good QPR. Light bodied, with some structure and mild tannins. Raspberries cherries and Oak. I would purchase again.

light body a bit thin on the palate. Not much aroma and a short finish . A disappointing wine. After a couple hours it had a bit more fruitiness in the taste. Overall not a good quality to price ratio wine

A nice and well produced Chianti which falls short of being better than good. Bland fruits with Cherry being the most pronounced. Balanced it is but short on tannin makes me think this wine is not built to last. Thin and watery is my take away note.

Cherry and oak on nose. Fruity with cherry taste. Light bodied average chianti.

Correct, mais à mon avis cette bouteille ne vaut pas le prix demandé.

Very good young Chianti.
Actually, it has everything you could expect from a chianti bottle.
Red ripped fruit, decent length, good structure.
