Lovely floral aromas. Bright and lively. With a hint of eucalyptus. Deep dark red in the glass. Flavors of anise, dark bitter chocolate, dark berry and a hint of Moreno cherry and menthol. Finish is smooth, round, and luscious. Long lasting and memorable. Fantastic wine.

This wine is fantastic, it reminds me so much of the 2013 Myriad Georges III on release. Beautiful dark cherry and black berry fruits, cream de cassis, a tad of acidity with excellent fruit purity and extraction. Just a solid wine and so good, a wine that is truly under the radar. I guess you can tell, I love it. 96++ Points.
The last bottle had backed off a tad but this one is back in full force, it's a fabulous bottle of wine. With 1/2 a bottle remaining, we'll see where it goes on day 2. 96+ Points and solid.

Wow, this bottles was better than the last one, intense blue fruit with some black undertones, great velvety texture with loads of chocolate, tea, cinnamon, clove, tree bark, amazing purity and has that yummy factor. My wife told me she thought it was ok, but then finished several glasses in record time....... this was a PnP and was ready from the start.

This was a good bottle of wine, perhaps the last bottle was just off, this one was not. Nice nose with an appealing dark crimson color. On the palate, lively and energetic ripe dark cherry and berry fruits, good extraction and sweet to taste on the palate. This time the slightly tart/ acidic note was missing. 94+ points

Dark cherry, raspberry, cassis, loads of cinnamon, clove and creamy vanilla. Amazing purity and balance with a velvety texture that leaves you wanting more. Was a PnP, however got better with 2 hours in a decanter.

This one seems to have backed off rather significantly - Transitioning, maybe? The first bottle showed nice fruit extraction, more black cherry, currants and energy. This time around it’s still very good but noticeably lighter in terms of energy and extraction palate wise. Day two, a bit better, but there’s more of in the cellar so we’ll see where this wind goes this time. 92+93 points.

Myriad, Quivet, and others: Red fruit driven with deeply pitched red raspberry and cassis notes. Finishes sweet and savory, with red currant and cedar flavors adding nuance. 91-92 points.

This 2016 12C - G3 is very good. As previously stated, great nose and dark reddish burgundy color. On the palate, black cherry and berry fruits, good extraction and a slightly tart/ acidic and sweet to taste on the palate. Drinking really well right now. Day 2 the wine has backed off slightly but still impressive. 93 - 96 Points.

The 2016 G3 has a luscious nose with rich, dark fruit, dark cherry. It shows strong notes of plum, blackberry and a little dark chocolate on the finish. It has a little of the bruised strawberry that I've come to expect from this vineyard. It's fun to drink and has a nice mouth feel. I love Mike Smith. I would say that it would benefit from better acid balance. The tannins and lasting finish make up for this in part. I think this wine is drinkable now.

Big and ripe fruit consisting of dark cherry, plum, raspberry and blackberry fruit with of tobacco, coco and cedar notes. I thoroughly enjoyed the Myriad Georges III and this 12 C 'G-3' is quite good too and perhaps is overlooked by some. That's too bad. I like this wine 94-96 points.

An absolutely amazing Cab and on a journey to a better place. 96+ points. Beautiful, ripe blue black berry fruit, with hints of bitter sweet dark coco, ceder notes, with really nice complexity and smoothness. This wine can use bottle time, but after about 30+ minutes, this wine revealed more nuance. A fantastic wine 95+ 96 Points.
