PYCM Chassagne-Montrachet Chenevottes 2017. Tight, men vokser veldig. Fatete og gul ved åpning. Utrolig forvandling - så ren, vakker og forførende etterhvert. Silkemyk i anslaget, dyp, intens og ren med en sublim nerve. Slank. Bør ligge, men kan jages i gang. Pirrende lang finish. Stram og fokusert med strålende mineralitet. 94p

This was simply great. Stunning and intense smokey nose, white peach, lemon, some elegant oak and vanilla, absolutely bursting with flavor but not overdone. This is a pure class act that is drinking well now, but should have a long life ahead of it!

Huge smoky mineral nose. There's pure white peach, lemon and mint too. It is direct and deep, tight and compact at first. It unfurls in the glass to show delicate white flower and chalk notes. Great shape and balance and so much dry extract to the long finish. Far too young!

Very tense. After several hours, finally unfurled in the glass with crisp orchard fruit, white flowers and zesty citrus. Layered with white pepper spice and racing salinity, there’s a nice lift to the palate. But concentration felt a bit reserved and thin.

Totally PYCM touch, has fully the domaine character. Big volume, nice freshness, good acidity, very mineral. Very vibrant wine, full of tension, intoxicating fruit. Outstanding! Just wow! Well done!

Significant matchstick reduction makes critical assessment difficult but there is clearly beautiful, concentrated orchard fruit wrapped around a stoney mineral core. Excellent acid-driven structure. Drink starting 2024.

Huge potential but simply not as open as Ancegnieres is today. Lively integrated oak, balance and harmony through and through. Laser focused fruity style which you come to expect from PYCM. Try again in five years.

Les Gobeloteurs Tasting (Domaine Stéphane Ogier - Ampuis): Tasting, brief note. Very floral with apple aromas that continue onto the palate with peach hints at the beginning, then getting brighter and leaner middle towards the end, finishing with some brightening lemon/ lime. Very good combination of ripe and tart. Good now with upside, 91-92 point potential.

A typical chassage Montrachet, not outstanding. Smell of oak, minerality and a powerful smell of sulphites. I would not buy it again

Great purity of fruit. All flavours are back-lit by electric acidity. It is very concentrated, but light as a feather. Wonderful stuff.

Spicy, rich, round and plump. Perfectly ripe peach fruit is cut by minerally acidity. Nice proportion and good freshness.
