Maturing black fruit, slightly floral, minty, and faintly earthy. Overall good balance and good enough weight. Easy and charming. Drink now through 2026 or so.

Very interesting. I would have pegged this as a Syrah if I didn't know it was Pinot. Meaty and peppery flavors. Very carnal but did not showcase the finer flavors Pinot can provide.

PnP. A very strange Pinot. Much darker than normal. Initially shy on the nose and palate. Later a good dose of black cherry with some herbs and spices (tea-like). Nominal finish, but enhanced after one hour with some blackberry notes. Almost as if some Syrah had been blended into this. Nevertheless, a decent drink but likely at or slightly beyond peak.

Tastes of wild cherry cough drops rather than the nice Pinot Noir the previous bottles were. There was no complexity at all. I have no idea why this bottle is so different other than it has a bit more time in the cellar.

Much better than first bottle as richness and complexity abound. Still fresh tasting and delicious with lots of dark red fruit. Nice mouthfeel. Very dark in the glass.

This pinot is definitely on the light side and reminds me of early CA pinot from the 1970's. It is much better than those wine generally since there is not a hint of an off flavor. Clean and fresh with hints of strawberry leading the way. I sensed it was developing more depth and saved about a third of the bottle for another day.

Much improved since my last bottle 7 months ago. That bottle was drunk outdoors, which could also be a factor. Big nose of farmland or manure. Taste leads with that, plus some tart cherry, black cherry, and currant. Much more Old World than New to me. The 13.5% was a surprise; I would have guessed much less — it’s that well integrated. High acid, low tannins. Not typical Willamette, but quite enjoyable anyway. As with @SMHALPS, now I wish I had more.

One of those wines that lives up to Garagiste's hype. I wish I had bought more. I had this at a New World Pinot Noir wine dinner with my wine group. Out of 4 Pinots, this was either the favorite or 2nd favorite for all 8 of us. Elegant and balanced, it also had the lowest alcohol % of the wines we tasted. Oddly, the wine with the highest alcohol % was also a big hit. Notes of mushroom and maybe some pine on the nose. I found this medium-light bodied, with a long finish.

Day 2 open (on the counter, unrefrigerated overnight). Yesterday, this showed some bretty notes, but those have faded today and this is a splendid 16 OR PN.

A lot cheaper than what I paid for the 12s. Very nice, if more ripely styled. On the nose: wild strawberry, vanilla, not so complex, but went down quickly. On the palate: good acidity. good density..juicy, raspberry. Not super complex, but gluggable. Yum.

Color: medium(+) intensity hazy deep ruby with some purple colored; probably unfiltered. No gas or sediment, moderate tearing. Give it ~15-20 minutes to open up.
Nose: medium-intense aromas of funk, tart black raspberry, and red plum. Definitely seems to be quite a bit of new oak on this, with pretty strong aromas of charred wood with cardamom notes
Palate: medium/medium(+) tannins, medium(+)/high acid, smooth textured, dry, and medium(+) bodied. Medium(-) clean flavors of fresh dark cherry and black currant with some charred wood and smoke notes. Good balance, medium(+)/high complexity with the oak notes coupled with red and black fruits. A long dark fruit and charred wood finish
Definitely a really good wine. Darker and brooding but with high acid and clean flavors. It probably needs a couple/a few more years of aging to be at it's prime
Edit: whoops, I somehow accidentally gave it 99pts instead of 92pts

Lots of black fruit with savory spice and a fine mint note. Perhaps a touch more new oak that needs another year to integrate, but otherwise good+ balance and good enough weight.

Dark color - very dark for a Willamette PN. Deep earthy nose. Big, smooth palate. Beautiful acidity on finish. Relatively smoleat onelevel and complex at another. Some stemmy tannins. Drinking well but will improve as the closing acidity integrates.

PHMG WAG: Newer or Rarer Oregon Pinot Noir (WillLyon Valley): My WOTN. The nose was open immediately and seductive. Zingy red cherry, berries, cranberry, forest floor, and spice. Becoming silky, yet still structured on the finish. 93 on day 2. Now-2026.

Solid Pinot. Denser and darker fruit than I was expecting, and it was a pleasant surprise. Wish I had more.
