Same as 11/7/21. Really a superb Pinot at a great price, particularly considering this is Oregon which seems to me to be overpriced. Not a fruit or alcohol bomb, just hit the middle point, really nice. One of the closest west coast Pinots I have seen to being like a medium-bodied French red Burgundy. Highly recommend, but hard to find I am sure. Drink now status, don't see long-term aging.

Not a huge La Crema fan of their Sonoma County wines as both their Pinots and Chards are a little light and thin for my tastes. However...their latest venture now several years old is making wine from Willamette Valley, Oregon fruit and this wine was exceptional. 100% varietally correct, the acid and fruit were in perfect balance. Medium-bodied with notes of menthol and red berries, a tad note of licorice. Owned and made by Jackson Family wines of Kendall-Jackson fame. Highly recommend and at this price point, very high QPR (quality to price ratio). Drink now. Needs just a little breathing.

Consumed over 2 days. Fruit has toned down a bit from the bottles I drank in 2019. An enjoyable and very good but not outstanding Oregon Pinot Noir. Cherries and spice in the nose and initial flavors, moderate length, good finish. What is not to like.

Approaching pale purple. Expressive nose of spiced berries, minty cedar, fresh-tilled soil and truffles. Fleshy and broad on the palate; the medium+ acidity adds freshness and lift to the wild blackberry and boysenberry fruit. Tannins are barely perceptible. Lovely spice notes emerge on the long finish. Easy to understand and enjoy. Surprised to discover such decadence in a Willamette Valley Pinot.

AKS opened while I was out of town and said it was awesome. But she left it open on the countertop and it was spent by the next day. I guess the rest of my bottles are ready for drinking now.

This wine was rated 91+ by the Wine Advocate and 93 by the Wine Spectator. This bottle was better than the first one I had a few months ago, but it is fruit forward, medium purple in color, with cherries and plums in the nose and initial flavors with moderate length in the finish. While I still think this wine is a very good value, I would wait a year or two to drink the other bottles I have to give the fruit time to tone down a bit more.

Fruit forward in a delightful way. Cherry, raspberry and a hint of spice. Fresh and lively. Cannot remember a better Pinot Noir in this price range for a long time, maybe ever.

This is a very good value in Oregon Pinot Noir at around $23; having receive excellent reviews from both the Wine Spectator (93) and Wine Advocate (91+). While I enjoyed the wine, it is a bit fruit forward and may benefit from a year or two in the bottle. Initial nose of black cherries and plums, moderate acidity, and a good finish. I am interested to see how it evolves.
Really tasty. Cherry and raspberry. Lot of fruit up front, but not in a sweet/jammy way as it’s balanced nicely with solid tannins. There’s spice on the end that I love. La Crema’s best Oregon Pinot so far.

Very fruity with pronounced cherry notes. Nice acidity and soft just-right tannins. A mouthful that reminds me of boysenberry jam. Very drinkable.
