Far better than the last bottle in 2019. Still reflects the vintage with very ripe fruit and lower acidity (I liked another reviewer's "brioche bomb" description), but it's filled out and the balance is improved. Very tasty and no doubt will improve further. I'm no longer sad that I double bought this vintage.

Excellent champagne. Well-structured and firm body. Buttery with notes of vanilla, cedar, lemon, and floral whiffs. Smooth, robust, and yes tasty. Certainly one of the better champagnes I have had.

Definitely some leesy notes in among cream lemon. Some butter and warm bread. Tasty fat fruit but the build leaves something to be desired. It could use some acidity and coherence. Could be a victim of the vintage but they went ahead and released it just the same. This is ok but don't expect a nice vintage wine. Just a late disgorged sort of Champagne.

Didn't care much for this when we opened it; it was simple and fatty. The last third was lost in the fridge and 4 days later it was lovely. Yes a little ripe and fat per the vintage but with nice acidity and a pleasing farmhouse butter note to the palate. I will hold the remaining bottles for a few years hoping for it to fill out.

A brioche bomb
Extremely bready on the nose, with only some fruits shining through, mainly green apples
Some sweetness on the palate

Mushrooms, butter, almonds, lees-like notes, gingerbread, pastry cream, vanilla ice cream, fudge, chalk, wet stones, lemon zest, wafer, white flowers and some pepper.
Dense texture and joyful acidity (much higher than the 2005).
91pt

Souper "à la bonne franquette" Novembre 2018 (Jean-Pierre et Jannick): Arômes de noix de pin grillées, brioche, très plaisant.
