Very lean with high acidity on the finish. This is an ok wine, but without much character. Paired well with pork tenderloin with a rosemary-lemon-honey sauce.

Very enjoyable Bourgogne. Still drinking well. Good acidity, dark red fruit flavours with a tannic spine. Pleasant sweetness. Good length and has capability to age longer. A bargain pinot.

I found this Burgundy quite simple, one-dimensional, and too lean for my tastes. It was like drinking flavored water - maybe an exaggeration, but that was my sense of it. In contrast, my wife thoroughly enjoyed it, as I am sure many others would. Wine taste is certainly individualistic.

This is a nice straightforward Bourgogne. Very clean on the nose and palate, as is typical of Latour. Indeed, the house style shines through here. Definitely worth considering as a house red / daily drinker. Drink now.

N: CLOSED; Hints of cherries & earth? Intensity lurking?
P: LM body; Rndish entry with NICE, almost swtish frt met by an astringent pucker which only SOMEWHAT resolves by the LONG, still puckerish finish with a swtness to the very, VERY fine tannins. AMAZING structure & likely substance for this level, but NEEDS through '21, & IF the frt holds, a potential steal @ this vendor's $16.95, which puts it in the lower part of the TOP 1/2 of wine-searcher's current postings. 13% ABV; My EXC-/EXC assuming that + evolution.

Good fruit and acidity. but green stemmy tannins dominate the flavor profile. Still beats anything you can get from California for these bucks! Addendum: On day two, this is a 90! Fruit now outshines the stemmy tannins. A great red for every day drinking.

With some spice on the nose. Clean fruit on the nose, and palate. Lots of spice on the nose. Lots of spice on the nose. Lots of Santennay in there is the idea. I am being told the fruit and balance is there but to me more of the spice is there. But its also 2017 vintage. 1/3 Santyennay first.

OK wine, but with little character or interest. Let's see how it performs over time with the two bottles I have left.

Has a nice tart cherry finish. Not very complex, but good drinking for the price. May improve somewhat over time.
