This benefited from about 30 minutes of air, which caused it to become more plush. This is my first time having this vintage, but I suspect I would've enjoyed this wine younger when it had more fruit. At this point, I primarily get a bit of citrus and minerality. This is a good wine, but I would like to see a bit more fruit and richness.

While I wish I could add something new, I merely have to repeat the tropical and stone fruit flavors. Medium to full bodied, a bit lighter I think than the 2017s.

Leap Year Melot Night (Bobby Van's on Park, NYC): Tasted blind with my wine group. We knew the winery, but not the grape. No one got it. Closest was a guess or two for Sauvignon Blanc. A prior taster said it best, so with apologies, I'm cutting and pasting, " Stone fruits, lemon zest, some effervescence." I'll add refreshing to that.

PnP, light yellow, nose of floral notes, peach, touch of honey , lemon zest; fairly viscous body, lemon peel, tart, crisp apple, subtle stone fruit, some cut grass, the honey follows into the finish, which is impressively long, just a hint of malted grain boosts the end. This has some interesting notes, subtle and not explosive like his cabs, Mike Smith has done a nice job on a single varietal at an excellent price point. Refreshing and somewhat cerebral for a white.

Excellent QPR - expected tropical notes, some stone fruit, I wish there was a touch more acid to balance out the bigger body of this typical SB companion, but there is no arguing that its delicious and refreshing.

This is a very soothing white wine perfect to match with a scallop/gnocchi/pesto dinner.

Honestly, a little disappointing. Was expecting more fruit presence than I got, which makes me wonder if my bottle was simply past its prime.

Agree with other's notes, with tastes of tropical fruits and stone fruits, and refreshing. Paired very nicely with lighter foods.
