Interesting, at first a bit oaky then the bottle disappeared, drank with flounder and corn on the cob and cole slaw, balanced, light body, complex flavors, good stuff, my last bottle.c’est l’vie.

Harvest Lunch Wines; 9/8/2021-10/9/2021 (Resonance, Carlton, OR): Nose: The nose is well balanced and aromatic with red apples, pears, quince, peach, white flowers, mineral tones, vanilla, nougat, lemon peels, and saline. There is good depth with an open-knit take.
Taste: The feel is Medium bodied with crisp, medium+ acidity. The feel is poised and refined with red apples, pears, quince, peaches, lemon peels, vanilla, nougat, and some saline.
Overall: This is a lovely and balanced Chardonnay. There is definitely life ahead for it, but it isn’t a long-haul wine.

Honeysuckle, lemon curd, lime zest, bright acidity, with a good weight and mouthfeel. Everything is in balance. Drinking well now, and can go a couple more years.

Agree with most of the tasting comments. Minerals dominate this dry chard. Good if that is what you like. Opposite of a typical California chard. I don’t think age will really improve this one. In fact I think it is probably as good as it will get now.

Somewhat one dimensional in profile. Ripe fruits and toasted oak dominate this wine both on palate and aromas. Tasty wine but lacking finesse that I expected. 2017 vintage. Wait another year maybe?

Again, wine has not developed as I would have hoped, a DDO issue? oak predominates as the flavor, OK bouquet, golden color, fruit has subsided a bit, drank with flounder with lemon sauce and Chinese veggies, have another bottle so will drink again.

Fortunately not very on the tropical side. Forward minerality and wild flowers on the nose. Pretty oaky on the palate with grip and some delicate density.
Afortunadamente no muy en el lado tropical. Mineralidad delantera y flores silvestres en nariz. Bastante roble en el paladar con agarre y una densidad delicada.

Neither a California oak/ butter bomb ....nor Burgundian . On nose: notes of minerals with a ghost of menthol(?). On palate:follow through of the above notes ,in addtion to light lemon and pear skin notes , bolstered by firm acidity ....medium bodied , with civilized alcohol ( 13.7%l ) ...a singular Oregonian wine...went well with Salmon ,Basmati rice and broccoli.

Not my style of a chardonnay. The wine is brighter in terms of the flint and limestone focus in mouth. Mid palette the wine has lemongrass, UN-ripened melon and a small amount of wood. Mouthfeel is drying as the fruit lingers in the finish.

Bright, lean, mineral forward nose with lemon, green melon and spearmint. Mouth matches with good balance and fullness, limited oak and long finish. Very nice. Would give 91.5, docking 0.5 pts for nose that could be more robust.
I like the Roserock chard slightly better due to fuller mouthfeel with slightly more oak and fruit influence (still balanced).

- Light gold color and aromas of apple, honey and peach. It's balanced and has flavours of apple and lemon with a light/medium body. Bright texture with a long finish - Slight honeysuckle aroma.

Nice with dal (Indian lentils) & mild Indian veggies. Light to medium bodied with some apple & near & citrus fruit. Good but I've enjoyed previous vintages more. Don't see how this gets better with time. Drink up

Drink now (2023/4). Most of the primary flavors have faded. Not much else left to benefit aging, though the acidity remains fairly good.

Shy nose. Decant, 30 minutes air, drink just under room temp. Otherwise consistent notes with others.
