Medium lemon-green colour. Medium nose with flint, wet stone, green apples and lemon. Medium taste of flint, wet stone, salty sea, green apples and lemon. Long and dry finish. High acidity. Medium body. A great and stoney Chablis with good depth. Goes well with fish or shellfish.

4* Mar 2023 👃 white flowers 👅 honey, guava, starfruit, pear, a little mineral, smooth almost oily, good acidity but not a mouth pucker. Good QPR for the region but I'm sure there is a similar Chardonnay for less somewhere out there.

Very pale yellow with some touches of green, low optical density, and very high specular reflectivity. Strong aromas of powerful tropical fruits, including banana, mango, and some light citrus. Behind the powerful tropicals lies some ripe peach and a bit of brioche. The palate shows very crisp acidity, light to medium body, and some concentrated creaminess (but just a touch) to provide a texture that is rounded and yet a bit electric. Excellent balance provides for a sense of tension and excitement. Flavours apple, light peach, and some apple cider on the attack give way to some minerals at midpalate, where things show a bit more weight to the flavours (by this point a mix of apple and tropical fruits and wet stone). Finishes medium in length with some apple cider and tart lemongrass. Intensity is pretty high throughout, with medium complexity of narrow depth.
This is a nice fruit-forward and refreshing wine. Seems to be right at home in Chablis, providing for a sense of place and variety, but at the same time is made with an elegant flair. There is some good concentration and depth to be had here, and I get some real character from this wine. Honest, but assertive, this is a great value that can be savoured and studied even. Just classic wine here!

PnP, chilled. A simple but satisfying Chablis. Loaded with apple, pear, lemon, and some minerality. OK QPR at restaurant price of $38. Should last for several years.

Medium body, bright golden color. Elegant stone fruits and citrus notes aroma. Ripe apples, pears, apricots and yellow plums palate combined with long slightly herbal finish. Light and refreshing but soft and creamy, complex and balanced acidity. Food friendly, tasted with stewed poultry. Open about half hour ahead. Serve 12º - 14º. Already enjoyable now but will better in year (I think).

Needs and hour out of the fridge to warm up and breathe after which it's just a delicious glass of wine. Nice round fruit, dry but no sour - made for drinking pretty soon I'd say and really delivering in Jan 2020. I can;t see much point keeping this - it's delicious right now. Definite rebuy.

Light to medium lemon core. Fennel, fresh pineapple and citrus on the nose; quite fragrant. Dry, but not bone dry. Medium to full--bodied, with a nice opulence of primary fruit mirroring the nose, balanced by crisp acidity. Clean and to the point, this Chablis delivers very good QPR.

Opened not decanted and served chilled. Screw top. I bought two Dungeness crab to go with this or vice versa as I picked up both at Costco today. Somewhat subdued attack on the entry (perhaps too cold?); light in body that morphs to a sweet and sour profile with more lime than lemon. Heat is a little noticeable to me, but only because I left the wine on my palate to concentrate on the tastes. Clean and fresh finish that ends on an up note. Good + Would definitely buy again.

Another lost Friday afternoon gathering – 88 DRCs, 90 Bordeauxs, Raveneaus, Dauvissats and etc. (Black Salt, Washington DC): Served blind by RJ. Very primary nose displaying pear and white peach and rain water. A bit straightforward and masculine expression. Very good concentration, coiled white fruit, bright acidity and a clean pure white fruit driven finish. Certainly Chardonnay and more than likely French. I don’t detect limestone mineral so I eliminate Chablis. I am thinking a young Meursault Perrieres that is shutdown. This shows the limitation of double blind tasting. It may have been a bit easier, if served in a formal single blind tasting. It is a solid well made white Burgundy.

Clear light yellow. Minty apple and pear nose. Dry pear and lime flavours and a short dry finish.
Decent wine but not what I want in a Chablis, even a Village level one.
