Translucent dark ruby. Nose of intense violets, acrid berry, earth. Bigger wine on the palate but just keeps its balance, revealing vivacious black cherry fruit brimming with acidic vibrancy and a bit of headiness. Late-appearing notes of tea and red plum. Firm but not obtrusive tannin. Moderately long finish of piquant red and black berry gripped by earth and hints of iron. A sappy Sancerre rouge which carries its 14% relatively well.

Dull red. Oak and bright black cherry on the nose. Light to medium body, some sappiness from the wood. Beautiful sweet ripe red fruit, lowish acidity and tannins, lingering oak spice at the end. Simple, warm vintage wine, but very good now.

Light bright ruby. Savory strawberry. Elegant, fine, with refreshing acid backbone. Certainly no blockbuster, and that’s for the good. Very enjoyable over three nights, we tried to purchase more, but alas, sold out.

An elegant Pinot from Sancerre, this wine is a delight for the senses with plenty of ripe bing cherry and plums on the palate, light tannic structure and a juicy, luxurious mouthfeel. The nose offers hints of forest floor and smoke. Enjoyed with maple-miso glazed salmon. Superb!

Drank over two nights. First night the wine was very angular and disjointed on the palate with tart red fruit and baking spices. Was not very impressed. Night two however, what emerged after 24 hrs was much improved. A more harmonious, softer wine with a range of sweeter red fruits, spice and some floral notes. Score splits the difference between night one and night two.
Based on Alexander Smith's review I was tempted to say I had an off bottle but maybe it just needed a lot of air.

Wonder berry, cherries, florals, spring herbs and orange peel aromas, the palate is bright and fresh with lush red berries, blood orange, rosehip, chalky acidity, a focused mid-palate with a long lingering finish. Great personality! Sancerre is too often associated with SB, and I must admit this is the first Pinot I have tasted from there (from my memory), and I was more than impressed, this is a solid 92-93 point wine with decent aging potential and for $50 you won't find a lot of wines from Burgundy at this quality level.
Bra for pengene.
God!

Fun white. Sweet taste at first but not too sweet. Good fruity flavor. Fun wine with appetizers or daytime drinking.

vibrant red fruits (cranberry, raspberry, cherry), a slight earthy/soil note, hint of peppercorns, gentle understated oak, nice high acid.

Delicious Pinot Noir aromas with raspberries and strawberries, and some natural wine tendencies. Fresh and intensely fruity.
