One of my first encounters with Pride Mountain grapes. Very positive. 5 year old wine that was perfectly balanced, deep red color, good fruit. I know this is a "cause" wine, that is irrelevant relative to value and quality. Good value.
Very nice, full of obvious Napa character on both nose and palate. Great value.
Nose shows black cherry with that "blackberry jam on buttered toast" thing which screams good Napa to me- a milky sort of vanilla accompanying partially fresh, partially very ripe fruit which works beautifully. Nothing standout/unusual, but a fair amount of intensity. The only slight downside to the nose is a small hint of bell pepper, which I know is a common visitor in Cab Sauv, but not my favorite detail, at least not here (as it doesn't work in harmony with the fruit or oak.) Thankfully it isn't overpowering at all.
Palate has more black cherry than other fruit, a touch brighter than nose. Nicely present, not too jammy, obvious tannins without being overly drying/puckery, even without food. Good medium acidity too, enough for the style.
Delicious at the $40 I paid (Wine Exchange Santa Ana closeout)- maybe not as "special" for $50-$60, but still a really solid buy. Needs a good steak for sure.

Good quality, this was pretty compact and dense, not as inviting as it could be but really just needs more time to flesh out a bit. Promising at the useful price of about $40 plus tax. 92+pts.

On the nose, I found a sweet fruit with a slight blackberry and chocolate. On the palate, I found blueberry and some leathery oak, with mid-low tannins and a smooth finish. Not as long as the 2015, but let’s see where it goes in 2021-2022.
I decanted for 15 minutes, but this wine is good right out of the bottle. It will probably hold up through 2027.

Great bouquet. Cedar, florals and black fruits. Pure extract, super sweet fruit, and mellow tannins make this super drinkable right now. Not structured for the long term, but I look forward to drinking this beauty over the next few years.

Sorry this is my last bottle. Delicious Napa cab that is also for a good cause.

I am really bummed I am down to my last bottle. A beautiful example of high altitude Napa Cab. Lovely wine.

A little bottle variance. Not as good as my prior, but nice nonetheless.

Similar to previous notes. Reasonably solid for the price, but still a little congested and needs a few more years to show better.

Outstanding drinking right now, though I found this bottle balanced a little more fruit forward than the last.
