Out of the gate, JP's Beaune Greves remains fruit forward. I imagine that this will likely be the case for some time. The almost purple blue fruits dominate the nose and pallet. The fruit surrounds a core of iron minerality with hints of black truffle. Consumed over two days and much better the second day. Sandly my last bottle, but definitely did not wait too long. It was a pleasure.

@Fred_Lund: Les Grèves is prime site in Beaune. Both Lavalle & Rodier rated it Tête de Cuvée. The Prieur example is dark & spicy, but not the best example.

Dinner w/ Chris & friends. Smoky chocolate/mocha and dark fruit flavors. Intense and concentrated, but not weighty. Very ripe. Lots of toasty oak at this infant stage. Long finish. Very promising.
