Best Bottle before Clos du Mesnil Vertical Tasting (Rocaille Düsseldorf): not blind, deg. 2011 drank it side by side with deg. 2010. This bottle was fresher, less oxidative with creme brulee, orange peel, vanilla cake, waffles and nuts, but everything was dominated by refreshing acidity. I think between 5-10 after disgorgenment is the right for Selosse wines. 97

Selosse Tasting (JH): Red apples with a delicious note of rye bread and coffee. Slightly bitter from oak and quite oxidized but without being overdone. Plum fruit, nuts and burnt sugar. Lovely wine!
