Washington Wine Tasting. Drank in Gabriel Standart. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, yellow lemon colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of salted butter, citrus lemon, toast oak. Develped. On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), medium+ body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of fatty butter with salt, cream oak toast, citrus lemon, ripe yellow melon.. Medium finish. Nay quality. Drink up a I feel it will probably never achieve balance. Feels quite off.

Very off putting residual chemical notes. Others may tolerate, I can't. Don"t know what they put in the tanks but find something else. Fruit is not bad, but additives make this disappointing.

Center of the pack. Wants to say banana. Touch of barrel wood. Good alcohol to open the palate and carry flavor to the nose. acceptable QPR given its character.

2018 Chateau Ste. Michelle Chardonnay Columbia Valley (Washington) Clean aroma and taste of apple, pineapple and star fruit. A decent whack of oak provides rich butter and toasty complexity although also a slight bitterness on the finish. Pleasant creamy texture overall. A good workhorse Chard at a fair price just chomping at the bit for imaginative food pairings. Much prefer the current wines of Washington State to the current state of whines from Washington DC.

Your basic Chardonnay with decent amount of fruit flavors supported by a creamy oak frame. Nothing complex about this wine however pretty enjoyable for what it is.

Your basic wa chard. A little oaky and a little buttery. I Don’t mind it. Great boat wine! One that I wouldn’t mind even a little bit drinking out of a plastic cup.
Not the worst wine for the very low sale price of just under $6. Some apple and citrus notes with a very brief finish. This is a decent party wine if you’re serving non-discriminating, thirsty guests. Perhaps the more recent 2019 would’ve been a little better.

14.0% alcohol; composite cork, medium-weight foil; fast legs, crystalline yellow; opened and kept in the fridge for 24 hours before tasting; nose of alcohol and citrus, metal and wet paper, earth; tasted at approximately 13 degrees C, full bodied, the secondary malolactic fermentation comes on strong, blending in with muscat raisins, New Zealand Manuka honey, minerals, also something in the background that tastes like old fermented bittersweet fruit; the wine is fruit forward and weighted toward fruitiness and sweetness, and away from tannins and sourness; the components are more disjointed than they are layered; the finish is lingering but not especially pleasant; if you're expecting a dry, complex chardonnay, don't choose this one

Oak. Buttery.
Needed half an hour in the freezer and an hour in the decanter. Then it blossomed.
I will buy again.

Vanilla butter nose, med body honey without long finish, light linger of vanilla. Not really acidic enough for creamy pasta.

Popped and poured at fridge temp. This is not a subtle wine, full of fruit and oak, a bit over the top, but actually went quite well with lasagne.
