I was previously a wine club member of burgess. I really like their Mountain grapes, They are not as Jamy as the valley fruit. It results in a more delicate lighter cab I truly enjoy.

Dark purple med body , aroma of dark fruit, jammy. Flavor dark Cherry and plum with smoked cherry tobacco. LONG finish pick up some oak, hint of leather and cherries. Almost typical Napa, well made complex and dark and clear, but definitely not over down, great complexity. 1 hr later - picking up nutmeg with Dark Cherry and Plum and more smooth leather finish with smoked cherry tabbaco.

They really believe in hillside fruit at this point. That is definately mountain fruit. And actually darn tasty for it as well. You can definately feel the tannins but in a good way.
THis is both vineyards but all mountain fruit.

Nice nose and palate. Creamy fruit with a little too much coconut and dill on the palate upon opening, which signals a lot of American oak. Mellowed out after a while. Near term prime drinkability. Nice $40 cab purchase at the winery.
