Decanted for 1.5 hours. Gorgeous nose of dark cherries and strawberries with some spicy forest things going on as well. Palate was similar and had, as other notes have mentioned, a creaminess to it. Excellent wine that is drinking well right now but will likely only get better with a couple of more years in the bottle.

30 minute decant. No detailed notes - it was polished and balanced but quite spicy on the finish. We enjoyed it and the bottle was almost gone before we realized we didn't have any notes!

Nose of fresh cut spruce and red fruits. Red fruits, rocky notes, and slightly bitter herbal notions race quickly across the tongue with lively acidity, flowing into a pronounced cherry tang, pine, and spice finish. Drinks smooth and uncomplicated.

14.5% abv. Dark ruby, very aromatic. Dark cherry, black pepper, ripe plum, some floral overtones and dark chocolate. Excellent depth and length. Good now, but better in 3-5 years. A very distinctive wine from a small, old, mixed black vineyard. Tasty and fascinating.

11/20 RELEASE The nose is bright, sticky and spice kissed with polished notes of wet stone, smoked meat, and spruce. The palate entry is silky, solid black fruit with supple tobacco and spice. A beautiful structure of persistent grilled meat and violet. Drink 2021 - 2030.

Very dark and interesting. From the bottle: a blend of Mourvèdre, petite Sirah, Syrah, peloursin, cirgnan, and Alicante Bouschet. We drink a lot of wine, but we’ve never heard of some of these varietals! On the nose there is black and blue fruit, pepper, and bacon. The palate is big and busy, with some difficulty picking specific characteristics due to the large number of varietals involved. I pick out dark fruit, pepper, leather, a touch of cured meat in the background, and a long, lasting finish.

The nose is ridiculously good, with dried strawberries, lilacs, crushed rock, kirsch, wild game and button mushrooms. The texture is almost creamy, with fine tannins and an a welcomed sappiness. So long, as it slowly unfolds on your palate. So unique and stunning. Wait a year, or decant. There’s an Indian spice aspect throughout, and a medium to full body. Drink 2022 - 2032.
This wine is still an infant but already very expressive. Plenty of peppery zest. Dark cherry, currant, cassis, subtle mocha notes all supported by a prominent earth and mineral foundation. The fruit flavors are a bit muted right now. Will undoubtedly take the forefront as the wine ages. A bold blend.

Juicy fruit but still balanced acid and med fine tannin. This a big and begging for steak or hearty rich sauces.
