Light ruby, slight garnet touch. On the nose mineral infused earthy ummpfh, strawberries, raspberries, pomegranate, a pinch of cranberries. Not getting the blood oranges from last years vintage.
On the palate similar to the above flavors. The minerality and some herbs tickle at the far back of the palate. Last years vintage was more inspiring. The 2019 appears more muted and less complex
Medium- body, medium acidity and light tannins.

Deep orange rose. Shy complex nose with hints of bruised apple, sour cherries, flowers, white pepper, and dry earth. Delicious fresh juice on the palate with a warm acid frame, flavors of blood orange and tangerine, nice bitter lift of appleskin at the back into the long finish.

Ok. Not great. Nice strawberry fruit. Some tannins from the Nerello Mascalese, but was missing the next gear. I had hoped for more. Others seemed to like it more than me.

I miss the wildness that I found captivating in previous vintages of this rosato. It’s a decent wine, but nothing more. Very tart cranberry crunchiness that finishes slightly astringent (stems?) and short. Doubt I will buy in the future.

No note taken. Light-moderate aromas of red fruit. Similar flavors. Light-medium bodied. Riper, almost sweet profile, and not quite as fresh as the last bottle. I think this bottle had some storage issues

I really don't understand the other TNs on this wine. On first opening it is tart to the point of undrinkability. With an hour or more air it becomes very average, somewhat thin, acidic rosé with rather strong tannins.
At ~US$6 this might be OK QPR. But at US$28 it is daylight robbery.

SLDS March 2021: Strawberry, redcurrant, some tobacco and earthy notes as well. Pretty relentless on the palate, dry, crunchy acid and pretty fierce all around. Interesting but don't know that I'd be up for it all of the time.

Delicious fresh and juicy strawberries and raspberries. Some ash and Earth, more so on the palate. Quenching medium+ acidity, clean, crystalline. 10 days on skins, more like a light red than a direct press rosé.

Very vibrant strawberry and raspberry saigneed juice...fleshed with cherry skins...sour tarted up with blood orange/cranberry acidity, slight skin tannins...sun kissed brightness with a little haze...crazy exotics of mulled spices, cinnamon stick, dried herbs...a juniper berry bite...pretty rose petal and cherry blossom florals. What's really cool is the gravelly density of minerals in this! Somewhat crunchy and saline minerality that gives more substance to the light and bright fruit. SO unique and interesting...screams Summer...yet I'm enjoying it at 50 degree weather! Love it!

amazing vibrant pink and just a bit cloudy. nose of cherries and cinnamon intermingled with lava rock. light bodied but somewhat viscous and with a middle of the road acidity. flavors of strawberry, cherry, and orange juice lead into a tart finish with a dusty dry ending. just the slightest bit metallic. gets the fruit and tactile weight to lean towards a red while keeping the freshness and body of a rose. quite good.

Really nice, even drinking out of plastic Covid cups at the motel in Manchester, vt. Just ripe strawberries, lots of savoriness, and a lively acidity. Very taut and steely, reminds me of an A-R trousseau.

Had a recent experience with a 2016 bottle that was outstanding, and with that in mind, this just didn't do it for me. Got a bit of the flowery Muscat aromas that I love. Very tart on the palate with green apple, cranberries and faint red cherries. It feels rather thin, diluted. Do I prefer them with a few years of bottle age, is it a big vintage differential, or is this the style he makes it in now? I'll keep a couple of bottles for some years to come back to.

I don’t know why but this seemed so ”meh” this time, a bit thin and diluted. Other than that I recognize my notes from last year.

Slightly better than the previous bottle. This had a tiny bit of natural wine funk, but it wasn't off putting. A tiny bit of spritz as well.

PNP into Titanium Atiap wine glass (“Leaf” day): pale orange ruby.
A bit of candied fruits like blood oranges, good mix of floral spices, savoury notes.

Pure and clean, this is like a HQ kabinett Riesling - no one can resist it!
Red fruits in square, lively acidity, round and well shaped.
Drink semi chilled now or within five years

Extremely mineral, really salty and stony. Blood orange, cherry blossom, chamomille tea (maybe) and raspberry. Subtle tannins, fresh acidity, low weight with 12% ABV.
