Color- Clear deep ruby. Nose- No doubt this is a Chinon. Heavy vegetal nose asparagus, broccoli, black cherry, green pepper, sage. Taste - Green pepper, cherry, earth. Finishes strong with dusty tannins. Very well put together, almost textbook for this region and variety. Excellent and a great value at $15.

Not this wine's fault, it was clearly past its use-by date.

CSCA: Weedy, grass; no off notes, but definitely underripe, w/unpleasant vegetal character; med. bod, a bit juicy underneath; bitter fin.
