Great with a chill. Classic Abruzzo medicinal cherry and oregano. Paired well with grilled lamb and summer salad with various fruits and bitter greens.

Enjoyed—nose had a muted cherry quality, almost like a flavored cough syrup, but pleasant. Dried herbs and earth, as well. Taste was similar—overall more savory than fruity, however.

Popped and poured at cellar temp. Cross between a rose and a red. Brilliant cherry red translucent color. Savory herbs, olives and black cherry notes on the nose. Nice sweet cherry fruit on the attack with good savory spicy notes on an acid filled finish. This could be a great summer wine as a full bodied rose in the summer, but is also a lovely aperitif wine with cheese and olives on a cold snowy night like this one. I would drink this young, but still vibrant and certainly no sign of decline

Hard to know what to think, first blush had a kind of cherry soda pop mouth to it, but then it morphed into a sort of Beaujolais light albeit with different red fruit and less tannin and earth, and eventually settled into what it is, multipulciano light. Enjoyed it just fine with a picnic dinner near the shore, and as an alternative to other blush or rose options. Not sure I'd seek it out.

This wine was marketed as a Rose. I can't comment on it as a regular red. Serve it chilled and on a warm summer day and it is quite pleasant, stronger, rougher, more farmlike but quite fun for a change from the usual Rose choices. Nothing not to like. Drink every now and then over the summer, but I wouldn't take it out of the refrigerator.

Cherry red. Volatile on the nose, stemmy cranberry juice. Bakewell tart; red currant and cranberry fruit. Washed out finish. Now what happened here?

A pleasant tartness, but otherwise uninspiring. Medicinal. Not great for the price.

Smells like an Italian herb garden. Saline, salty onion tartness. Fresh.
