Drinks like a bubbled Chablis, only more boozy and noticeably sweeter. On second thought- this tastes exactly like Yann Durieux's Love and Pif. Bright acidity, lemon citrus, and somewhat natural. This isn't a great showing now, with the warm 2018 vintage overwhelming everything else this cuvee has to offer. I'd rate it at mid 80s as it is now. Better to wait at least a few years before opening.

Pronounced green apple, pear, lemon, white peach, honey, toast, and wet stone. Medium+ acidity, medium+ body, creamy mousse, and an everlasting, complex finish with the same melange of flavors, particularly minerals and sweet white fruits. Rich but precise, as time went by this started to resemble a Grand Cru Chablis minus the saline character. What a wine!

Pale yellow gold with green tint, vigorous fine bubbles. Citrus, white flowers, hazelnut, cream and minerality. Lean but complex. Wine was still too youthful and tight, and not showing much.
We paired this with the 2018 UR Blanc de Noirs. The UR was showing much more in comparison. This 2018 HL needed another 5-8 years in the cellar. For instance, at time of writing, Dom Perignon is selling its 2012 and Jacques Selosse is selling 2010. 2018 is way too youthful to be consumed now.

Tight, but not exceedingly so on opening, with a rounded, orchard fruit profile, with pears dominating the fruit. Moderate acidity, this is a bit of a softer edition of champagne, and lacks the cut that other bottles of Bouchard can have. All in all, an early-drinking wine that I don't think has the aging potential of the best vintages, but a delicious drink nonetheless (price notwithstanding).

Dinner at 67PM: Started off rather tropical which was rather distracting, especially on the nose. Gained tension and drank almost like a white Burgundy after a couple of hours with ripe citrus fruit. Very well-balanced even though it was still painfully young. Without a doubt my favourite single vineyard from Bouchard.

baby Cedric Bouchard test-run (portland, OR): The nose is fresh and perfumed with spring-like tones of white peaches, almonds, pears, red apples, jasmine, green tea, nougat, nectarines, biscuits, toast, saline, ginger, and some chamomile. This is very expressive with a classic Bouchard nuanced quality that makes you take some time with it. The Medium bodied feel is refined and elegant with crisp, high acidity. This is definitely youthful, but with a lot of upside. There is excellent length and texture to the feel with the acidity showing some sharpness. This could be really something with another 3-5+ years on it.

Just wonderful. Very rich and ripe as you'd expect from a 2018, but still with beautiful tension and minerality to keep it from getting flabby.

Fairly priced in Witwenball. I love this site from CB. Elegant, powerful and dense. 94

Young and primary but showing great balance. You can drink it now but if you hold it for 5+ years you will have something really special.

Disgorged 2022, #3624. Quite sweet, with time revealing pure white fruit and mineral BdB characters. 93

Härlig men blyg nu i sin ungdom, men ser framemot att testa denna igen om ett par år!
