This is as good a St. Aubin as I've tried. Deliciously ripe lemon/lime fruit with great intensity and sappiness and a gorgeously complex finish with notes of chalky minerals and salty limestone. Drinking so well right now.

Andrew's Birthday 2021: Pop and pour. Once the moderate sulfer blows off, the nose shows Jasmine flowers and slate with a touch of citrus zest. Body is full and lush, coating the palate with orchard fruits, underripe nectarine, Limestone. Bright and balanced acidity, the finish lingers and brings you back for more.

Blind tasting comparing the same wine from the 2017 and 2018 vintage. Wines were decanted 3 hours prior to tasting. All 4 wines were wonderful, but in a mild surprise the 18s were preferred over the 17s. The 18s showed better flavor depth and complexity, with the 17s showing a little dilute possibly from the high yields of the vintage (45 to 50 hectoliters per hectare).
Wine C, 2018 PYCM SA En Remilly Cuvee Nicholas et Mathis. Rank: 1 Pale yellow. Rocking and voluminous aromas of flint and citrus oil and lemon spice on the nose. Great texture, young and taut with a lovely tension and precision to the citrus infused flavors.

Citrus oil, flint, broad texture, just enough acidity and tension to keep it fresh

Open and generous, far more so than anything back to at least 2014. Drinkable now.
