Very savory nose... cracked pepper, wet earth, wild Black Forest fruits.
Long, lean and seamless. Red to black fruits on the palate. Extremely saline and quite tart. Finishes with iodine. Nicely balanced and drinking just beautifully.

Wish we had some more of these. It was drinking just great. Everything you want from a well aged Cote Rotie - meaty and gamey and all of that. Delicious.

Tawny colored. Slight Brett on the nose, with a dose of bacon fat. Palate is appropriate and red fruited, with good acidity aged Syrah flavors (decaying autumnal leaves) and no Brett. Feminine, refined and elegant, with fully integrated tannins. Silky and delicious.
