Light ruby in glass. Medium plus intensity on the nose. Cherries, tar, roses and camphor. Medium plus acidity and tannins. Nice medium length finish keeping you coming back for more. Hold or drink.

Nose started with cherries and roses and an oxidized iron note of minerality. After air, the iron became a bit herbal and the roses became more complex. Body was medium, color was garnet. In the mouth cherries, red fruit overtones, some lovely herbal and mineral components, and some great spice. Finish has some length and more spice and some iron oxide.
Paired well with hanger steak.
Beautiful wine. Tannins are well integrated. Acidity is restrained. Fruit remains fresh. Good complexity. No oak for me whatsoever.

Still entirely primary, but gorgeous and opens up beautifully with air. Intense aromas of flowers (red roses, violets...) and ripe dark fruit, a little vanilla, licorice, clay, mint... Dense and layered on the palate, tannins are firm and serious, but so well integrated and should steadily soften. Long on dark fruit, flowers, spice. This is great stuff, but needs another 5+.

Dense and full bodied but also polished. Darker coloration than expected with juicy mixed berry, mint, mineral and some woodsy earthiness. Tannins grip but surprisingly approachable now but still better in 5 years.

wild blueberry, strawberry, violets and roses, licorice, topsoil, petrichor, wild herbs, raw cacao, firm tannins, velvety and deep texture, fresh and mineral finish, intense fruit and a touch of licorice linger along with the minerality, probably best to save this 5 years, will last for 20+

Needs more time. A modern traditional style ie red profile but quite polished
