3.5g/l dosage, 100% Pinot Noir and aged in oak. A waxy texture, clean red strawberry fruit that was balanced by very good acidity. Reminded me of Henri Giraud stylistically but more vinous and less round. Very good with food.

100% Pinot Noir from 30 year old vines, Extra Brut, over 7 years on the lees, aged in oak.
Very golden color, woody and buttery aromas on the nose with vanilla, caramel and quince coming through as well. Palate was extremely rich and complex with overripe apple, peach, butter/brioche and very oxidized including some dried fruits. Still great acidity in it from a very good vintage of 2012!
