Showing so well. PnP. Aromas of lemon, minerals, spice, green apple, and some oak . Medium bodied with lemon, green apple, spice, oak, minerality. Well balanced with good acidity and a smooth finish.

These are alway solid. This bottle didn't show quite as well as the previous. I definitely don't mind some ripe Chardonnay, it's a frequent indulgence. That being said this was a bit rich for what I wanted last night. Ripe fruits, pear, apple, lemon curd. Just enough acidity. There was just a bit of oxidation notes that weren't quite what I needed. Still, it's a good wine.

Gold in color. 14.5% ABV. Pretty nose of stone fruits, lemon oil and butterscotch. Medium to full bodied with ample acidity. Rich and opulent with great mouth feel. Meyer lemon, pear and vanilla creme brulee on the palate. Tremendous length on the finish. Delicious, easy to drink and hard to beat for the price. Best over the next several years.

Really excellent CA Chardonnay, especially considering the price. Very light yellow color. Lots of concentration considering it's fairly medium-bodied. Citrus and stone fruit. Excellent balance.

This always a solid deal. Apple, some tropical fruit in the nose. Palate of apple, citrus, pineapple. Decent acidity. The finish has some Stoney/mineral quality. Very pleasant and easy to drink.

Transparent yellow color. Baked apples on the nose. Medium body, medium acid. Very thick on the palate with green apples and orange marmalade on the front, lots of wood mid-palate that through everything out of balance and a harsh finish that was more like scotch. Will have to give this one another chance in a couple years, but was pretty disappointed today.
This was excellent and hard to believe it’s the entry level bottling, which bodes very well for the SVDs. Golden honey colored, this was medium-full bodied, layered and complex with a long finish. Candied lemon, green apple and floral notes backed by just a hint of well integrated oak.

Pop and pour. Initially tasted at cellar temp(55F) and then chilled and allowed to warm to room temp.
Light straw color. Nose has an initial lemon oil/lanolin element - oily. Follows on with green apple and light pineapple. Good fruit on the intro with light pineapple and sleek lemon and kiwi bright flavors. Finish has a tangy lemon peel element. Quite good.
14.5% abv. Diam10 cork.

Beautiful straw color. Macadamia nuts, lemon zest, and some rich hay. Severd cold, but it was best at a warmer temperature, maybe 60 degrees. Fantastic wine at the $30 price point. Will definitely buy more!

Tropical and citrus fruit aromas. Sure enough, tropical frutis--pineapple, banana. kiwi--and citrus fruit--hard to distinguish between lemon, lime and grapefruit--flavors along with some caramel on the tongue. A fair amount of acid tartness. Interesting and contrastingly mellow aftertaste,

Straw colored. 14.5% ABV. Pretty nose of tropical fruits, toasty oak and minerals. Full bodied with exquisite acidity. Lemon oil, pears, vanilla creme brulee and spice on the palate. Nice length on the finish. Super Chardonnay that can't be beat for $30. Best vintage of this wine in recent memory. Drink over the next 3-4 years.

Pop open and used 1 cup for a Bolognese sauce. Sad to use a wine of this caliber for cooking but I wanted to open this for a taste. Light golden color. Clear. Nose offers some white floral and white peach notes along with crisp Macintosh apple. Refrigerated and tasted the following day. Like the nose, there is a white floral element, followed with a wet stone sea spray. This has some weight. Lemon oil and unripe pear. Richer mouthfeel than what I remember from prior vintages of this wine. Enjoyable.

Solid wine from TRB but just seems a little one dimensional. All notes subdued and Cousin Pudge noticed the bite on the short finish. Had Ramey RRV 2018 before this which was much more complex and smoother. Will wait on other two remaining bottles to balance out with some more cellar time.

Medium straw or pale yellow color. Hay, hazelnuts, and some pineapple and toast. Very nice wine. This one opened a touch bitter, but smoothed out by the second glass and continued to improve. Maybe a candidate for a cold decant if you're drinking it in 2021. Also seemed to taste better a touch warmer than wine fridge.

One hour decant. Deep golden color (Sauternes-esque). Lemongrass, creamsicle, and nutmeg on the citrus-heavy nose. Smooth, dry palate, with terrific acidity that provides nice structure.
This is a wonderful QPR. The lemon may be just a touch too strong, but otherwise this is already drinking very well.

Only 450 cases produced. This vintage is actually a single vineyard bottling from Riddle Vineyard in Occidental that is planted to the Wente clone. This wine offers plenty of intensity on the nose with layers of chalk laced white peach, orange blossom, lemon meringue, lime zest and French oak notes of, spice with hints of butter and a faint trace of mint. Full throttle on the palate that palate with great intensity. Mouthwatering acidity and a creamy mouthfeel are accompanied by flavors of lemon meringue, white peach, lemon-lime, chalk and white flowers that give way to the firm oak presence end lactic notes. The creamy finish is balanced and long revealing spice and mineral.
Needs time but a great showing with air time

One hour double decant. Golden color. Lemon meringue and lime zest, along with subtle pine sap and vanilla frosting on the nose. Smooth, subtly buttery, lime soda-laden palate, with soft, lingering acidity.
This is a decent QPR, but is drinking very young. It’s not especially complex and the lemon/lime nots are too overpowering at the moment. Should improve dramatically in 6 - 12 months.

This bottle was a PnP but drank over 2 nights. Profile was very similar if not the same on day 2 as it was on day 1. Drank out of a Riedel Montrachet shaped glass.
Color was a medium straw yellow. The nose was slightly muted with mild to medium aromas (difficult to identify what I was smelling but it was pleasant). There were flavors of lemon zest, a hint of green apple and white pepper. The texture was buttery but not overly oaked. There was medium minus to medium acidity.
I felt the wine wanted to give more but fell a little short on aromas and flavor. I was expecting a bit more from the bottle but it was shipped within the past 2 weeks to the East Coast and may be I experienced a some bottle shock. If I had anymore bottles, I would suggest letting them sit for at least a few months if not a year or 2 before popping the cork.
My score is a 90.5 with potential to add a couple of points with some age. My wife enjoyed the bottle a bit more than I did. I expected more from the bottle but at the end of the day its still a great QPR.

Interesting but this bottle was decidedly different and better than the bottle drunk last week. The bottle last week was more muted/closed. This one was just as full bodied but it was yummier. It had an unexpected slight pine note on the finish too, which I liked a lot. The wine went very well with a bowl of chilled shrimp.

Nose of apricot, tropical fruit and fresh cedar wood. The in-mouth flavors immediately start with tropical fruit, pineapple, mango, move onto green apple, and I even get coconut. Generally so young. The mouthfeel is loaded with acidity and it's very fresh.
This is a wonderful wine with lingering notes of wet cardboard, a dry mouthfeeel with loads of acidity that is clearly ageworthy (and probably to young to drink today) and yet flavorful and enjoyable right now.
