2022 Belle Glos Pinot Noir Single Vineyard Survey Balade Arroyo Seco

I agree 100% with Cgoumas' and AcidQueen's reviews. I purchased this wine by the glass at Maggiano's Little Italy in King of Prussia, PA for $17/6oz pour. I left approximately 3.5 ounces on the table, as it was undrinkable for my palate. It was a dark purple, full bodied, sugary, syrupy mess. This is definitely not my style of pinot noir.
I did not provide a rating, primarily because Maggiano's doesn't provide a vintage with the wine by the glass and I didn't see the bottle so it could have been a different vintage but I'm assuming it was the most recently released vintage. Also, it could have been a bottle opened a few days ago and stored improperly and with too much heat resulting in a cooked wine. However, it did not come across as a flawed bottle of wine, just a bad glass of wine. Maybe this wine by the bottle with a decant and some airtime it would have been palatable but definitely not my cup of tea.
If your looking for a pinot to pair with a lighter fair dish or your looking for a wine that has some stereotypical traits of pinot noir then this is definitely one to avoid!

2014 Hartford / Hartford Court Old Vine Zinfandel Jolene's Vineyard

Ordered off the menu at California Grill at the Contemporary Hotel in Disney , FL. I was.pleasantly surprised to find this wine at the back of the wine the list. It was paired with medium rare fire-roasted venison. It was decanted primarily for sediment but it definitely benefited from 30+ minutes of air. The first sip had a slight funk and that blew off rather quickly. The bottle was consumed over approximately 1.5 hours and the best glass was the last.
The bouquet was of dried flowers and Asian spices. The color was deep purple with minimal signs of age of being a 10 year-old Zinfandel. The palate was of dark cherry. Blueberry and blackberry. There were brown spices and earth tones laced throughout with surprisingly medium tannin structure. There was secondary flavors present but minimal tertiary flavors. There was still good acidity. The body was medium-full. The wine was well balanced.
This bottle is in its peak drinking window but there are several years left in this window. Is has aged graciously. The bottle was on the wine list for $110 and I would definitely buy it again, especially over almost all of the cabernets on the wine list at $200 or less. It paired well with the venison and would have paired well with any meat entrée on the menue.
What a great wine list fine with only 300 cases produced!

2019 Occidental Pinot Noir Cuvée Catherine Running Fence Vineyard

Decanted for 60 minutes and consumed out of a Sensory stem. The wine was initially paired with chicken milanese then consumed without food for the next 4 hours. The wine was returned from the decanter to the bottle after approximately 2 hours and the temperature was slowly returned to 55°.
The color was a medium ruby. The aromas were floral with hints of orange rind and brown spices. The palate was of tart cherry. cranberry, allspice, and crushed gravel. The wine had great acidity and salinity.
This is a beautiful wine that has all the stuffing to age gracefully and gain another few points with midterm cellaring.
