I’ve never been wowed by orange wines in my somewhat limited exposure. However this is such a lovely sip on day 2. Just the right kiss of skin contact creating a feast of complimentary yet also divergent flavor sensations. As others have mentioned it’s mixed citrus notes, saline, perfect acid balance leads to a long spicy white pepper finish. Wish I had more of this one. Compliments to the chef.

Tasted after 90 minutes of air. Orange color. Tangy citrus fruit. Nice balance. Medium finish. Agree with the previous comment that this is reminiscent of a Chenin Blanc from the Loire.

Very impressive wine. Precise, clean aromas of apricots and secondary baking spice (allspice, clove, and nutmeg) notes. I don't recall ever experiencing "fall in a glass" quite so specifically. Seville orange, apricot, and blood orange zest on the palate. Wow. I love this wine. Quite an introduction to Sabelli-Frisch!

OMG! This is nice! Orange, apricot and honey in the nose. The taste is wellbalanced with yuzu, canned pineapple, grass and honey without any sweetness. Reminds of a really good chenin blanc. The finish is superlong. Wish I could get more.

The color in the glass is like golden oolong tea, the nose is white peaches and allspice/white pepper with, to me, a top note of the taste of the smell of orange and lemon peels thrown in a fire. There's also a bright but not blinding acidity that will keep your mouth watering between sips. If there's any left on day two, a taste of fruit preserves will show up alongside the citrus notes but it still works well with the spices on the finish.

A nice, interesting bottle that was unexpected. I served it cold but it had a bit of an off flavor and while pleasant, lacked depth of fruit.
As it warmed up, though, it added much more fruit and just overall came into balance. The off flavor went away and we were hooked.
Was even better day 2 and I served it pretty close to room temp from the beginning. We have more coming so I'll try a more detailed note on the next bottle.

Still a bangin wine. Rich and deeply flavored (crushed pineapple) without being sweet, oxidative without being weird. Bravo.
