Pale greey yellow. Fruity nose. Round, hint of sweetness nothing more, fresh apple and gooseberry, a bit of creaminess. Rather a nice package for a weekday evening, moreish, in a good spot. Screw top.

This bottle was initially opened 25 days ago. Another experience with this wine showing beautifully weeks after opening. So full of flavor, paired with grilled swordfish. Outstanding value.

My first Pinot Blanc. Deep straw color. Light on the nose but did pick up the scent of pear. Tasted peach and lemon. A dry wine with medium body and acidity. Good value for the price.

4th Saturday Brown Bagger (J&L's): Double blind. Pale color with melon and apple notes. Light, with melon, orchard fruit and spice qualities. Soft acidity. (J&L)

3rd bottle of 8. This bottle was opened on 12/27/22, for use in a marinade, and stored for the past roughly one month in my refrigerator. Now, nearly one month later, what a pleasant drinking experience. Richness - at a modest tariff. These Trimbach Pinot Blancs offer real value. The perfect house white, year after year.

My second bottle of [now a total of] 6. Opened this for a marinade. Displays sweet forward fruit from the "get go" - very much unlike my first bottle, opened six months ago.

Alsace Pinot blanc - round friendly nose of pear, stone fruit, followed by further deepening flavors of yellow peach and other stone fruit. Not sweet and just enough acidity to balance it out. This wine goes really well with light ‘sweet’ cheeses and meals such as caramelized onion as in onion soup or German zwiebelkuchen, or Asian style dishes with ginger, or miso. I served it with a grilled salmon on top of various greens with mango and miso dressing. Home run! Don’t serve this with shellfish like oysters which need a higher minerality and flintiness, or with meals that are fatty and need a higher acidity to cut through it. Paired with the right food, this is excellent. Loved it and will make sure to have a few more in the cellar for the right food wine pairing.

Glyndebourne (Alcina - Handel). This is the third vintage of this wine I've had over the years at Glyndebourne and, sadly, by far the worst and not up to the standards I have come to expect from Trimbach over many years. Overripe fruit, little acidity or minerality with a bland medium finish. Gripless. Poor - avoid.

Fresh blast of grapefruit and lemon peel, nice minerality and acidity, some background smell of ethanol. Really pleasant and drinkable Alsace, great summer wine for a BBQ! Would be great with any type of fish, probably does not have the weight to hold up to oysters though.

We tried this because we are fans of the 2019 Trimbach Riesling, which we’ve had several bottles of. Unfortunately we do not like this Pinot Blanc. Flabby, very fruit forward, tastes sweet, almost juice-like. This would be better suited to those who like a bit of sweetness in their wine, even though the wine is a dry wine. I can see some liking this, but we will not repeat.

Muted apple, pear and stone fruits. The palate is quite fat and plush with rich stone fruit and plenty of body but enough acidity to balance it out. Good length and a wine that works with hearty white meat dishes.

My first bottle of 3. Opened as last minute back up wine. PnP, Very, very lean. Does not appear to be close to the quality of the excellent 2018. Judgment reserved; will revisit. ADDENDUM: Three days later. Still lean, lots of mineral. with a touch of bitter fruits. So different than the 2016 and 2018 (wonderful) and the 2017 (slightly sweeter than I prefer). SECOND ADDENDUM: Nearly two weeks (13 days) later, the wine had put on weight and displayed more richness. Nice.
clean clear, pale straw lemon, peach on the nose medium alcohol medium plus acid luscious Lemon, bright acidity on the palate No phenolic or pith finish A nice refreshing white, good with grilled salmon

Unscrew and pour. Solid PB nose with good pear notes, if a touch creamy. Good acidity, but comes off slightly oily. Not bad, but prefer a slightly brighter style.
