Pre-dinner thanksgiving drink. Drank back-to-back with the 2017. I liked the 2018 better. Fuller body, smoother, and more fruit forward. BUT, does have a rubber aroma on the nose that was off-putting to some tasters. But overall, well balanced and excellent quality.

Black Pepper! Overpowers fruit but it's also extremely good with white sharp cheddar cheese, Boars Head Pepperoni, and herb salt crackers. Wow, what a flavor!!! Mmmmm mmmm!

Drank on a Saturday night sitting at home. Drank with Hatch Chili beef and rice. Pepper and spice on the nose, nice dark color, and decent balance. It’s excellent for the price, but gets an 89 because the pepper and spice overpowers the fruit and lingers. A little too spicy on the palate for me.

You are met with a Dark color and a slight note of pepper to the nose. Then it bursts with dark berry flavor in the mouth, medium tannins and a hint of coffee on the back end. Enjoy Drinking nicely now in the middle of the drink window.

Wow, was impressed how balanced it was. Could find so many different dishes to pair it with, but the popcorn with kerry irish butter and truffle salts was perfect

Got this on sale from Total Wine for $25. It is a robust Pinot Noir - zippy and fun to drink. It is advertised as the "Pinot Noir for the Cabernet Sauvignon drinker," but you would never confuse this with a Cabernet Sauvignon. It's lighter, fruitier, lower in tannins, etc. Doesn't mean it's not fun to drink; a beautiful wine for a summer afternoon.

91 because it is a very good Pinot for the price, $38. Light body in color but with a very nice fruity flavor and finish.
