A nice, fairly serious Loire rose. This speaks cab franc. Nose cherry, with bell pepper/herbal hints. Substantial acid and mineral. rose petal, seawater mineral. Palate exquisitely balanced - Plenty of acid to support the fruit and keep it fresh, but not overdone, strong mineral backbone - but not at expense of fresh red fruit. A bit salty, but not overwhelming. A pleasing herbal astringency in mid to late palate, along with some rosewater. Incredibly drinkable and refreshing, but also quite complex.

Fresh, bright, capsicum, thyme, ginger, crushed petals. Good structure and acidity. Long, astringent dry finish. Normally I am not a fan of flat rose wine, but this is an exception. Goes well with raw oysters.

Ripe red fruits, cream, honey, and sunshine with undertone of lime and rosemary. Racing acidity on the palate is balanced with lots of strawberry. A little spicy brambley thing too. Very fresh and bright and perfect for food.

Solidly very good, but clearly not as enthusiastic as I was with the prior bottle four months ago. This came across fruiter and hinting at some RS. Still a really nice gastronomic rosé that worked with grilled albacore and grilled vegetables.

Pale salmon rose - pretty. Gentle floral with red berries, lemon and mineral on the nose and a touch of apple. Light bodied, the acid is vibrant and incisive, the texture sinewy - like biting into an apple - and flavours of light raspberry, red cherry, and white pepper with a touch of seaweed-infused salt. With a long finish that closes with a hint of spice, this is a mineral-edged wine that bubbles along nicely.

A mediocre rose. I would love to like this more given garagiste’s rosey blurb, but there’s not a lot of flavor going on. Very mild strawberry, hint of lemon and rosemary. Not much finish. No clue how my other bottles might age.

Paying a few dollars more for rosé can payoff, as it does here. Other recent TNs capture it well. Cab Franc. Terrior. Barely ripe strawberry, sweet herbs, violets, cherry blossom?, minerality. This is beautiful and "paired perfectly" with perhaps the last really warm evening of this year. It's also a gastronomic wine - I've got another bottle that should be paired with food! Label abv 11-14%. Guess: 13.2%

Wild strawberries and fresh herbs, a subtle scent of lemon peel in the background. The reviewer below that notes “thin skinned red fruits” is spot on. Cherry, apple peel, citrus zest, melon and sea spray - dry, crisp and elegant, there’s a lot to like here.

Bien. Un nez engageant, floral et fruité. La bouche est fraîche et tonique mais on retrouve une agréable mâche en milieu de bouche. Bel équilibre et finale de longueur moyenne. Un vin réussit.

I liked this but didn't love it as much as I expected. It did however pick up a lot of traction on the finish so perhaps a bit of air or decant time might have helped?

Rose and sausages (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): Very ashy, whole bunch notes over earthy notes, slight pencil shavings, tart and savoury, plenty of texture sour black fruits. Interesting, challenging.
