  • Still young. Decanted and opened up after an hour or two. Lots of tanins, flavor and style Highly recommend

  • At Luce tasting
Had with lunch. Over the moon pairing w a rustic hearty pasta, which would be ideal in demonstrating why food and wine meld. Opened up over the afternoon. Emerging fruits on the nose, rich sour cherry mid body and medium finish. Would love to see this in a decade on its own.

  • Not too familiar with the winery. May have had some bottles in the past before I was a wine snob. Was a visit I had zero expectations and was a bit confused on the wines as they are in ‘Montalcino’ but produce SuperTuscan wines. So give it a spin I did. Gorgeous property in the middle of nowhere with capacity to produce double the current production. Worth the visit as its close to Montalcino and good way to mix it up from the Piedmont and Brunello.

Good acidity, red fruits, black currants, red currants, dry, - early approach, - actually really enjoyable
