Savory, earthy (muddy? - Thick mouth feel) wine with notes of pear and apple. Not loved by all but we still managed to finish the bottle. I agree with the earlier comments that it felt heavy and plodding - absolutely.

Like others, I wasn’t feeling this — it felt a little heavy and plodding on the palate. Beeswax, some neutral melon, a little bit of white flower. It’s sort of neutral in general doesn’t bring any briskness.

Vague floral, beeswax notes, but so flabby and insipid with a bitter finish, it's barely drinkable. Consistently bad for all three bottles ordered from Garagiste.

Surprisingly poor. Smells good but the bizarre taste makes it undrinkable. The first ever bottle of wine that I had to flush down the toilet. "Rhône blanc", mon œil !

Lovely with spicy curry chicken. I understand most would not choose to sip this as a salve on a hot summer day, but works when matched reasonably well.

Acrid burnt wire notes with faint fruit and floral secondaries. Flabby and lifeless, with almost no acidity. Astonishingly bad. I'm surprised Bonny Doon released it under their own label.

Medium bodied, modern styling. Fat, flabby, metalic, bittered. Not enough acidity to really sense specific fruit, but sits in the realm of tired pears and white gourds. Really quite a poor showing for Bonny Doon, maybe should have skipped this vintage. Is there a Golden Raspberry Award for wines? 84-86

Mediium straw-yellow, viscous @13.5% abv. Floral aromas laced with beeswax and thyme. Dry, medium(-) acidity, medium(+) alcohol and ditto body. Richt textural attach with rather flat palate with of yellow plum, mango, honeyed apple, and white pepper. Well made, unctuous but not quite balanced nor exciting. Good length with spicy finish.
Blend of Grenache Blanc (60%), Vermentino (32%) and the remainder is made up of Clairettee Blanche.

Bought one for 13 from a local eclectic independent shop--good experience with Bonny Doon, good price. Screwcap. Off-dry, muddled Rhone blanc flavors that never evolved, though I gave it 24h to try because of its youth. Disappointing. Closed out at 9/b shortly after I bought, but it still wasn't worth it. Quality, age, price: Drinkable+.

Retail $15. Under screw cap. 60% Grenache Blanc, 32% Vermentino, 8% Clairette Blanche. This is always one of the samples that I look forward to the most as I really love what Bonny Doon represents both in the region and the American wine scene in general (e.g., innovation, environmental stewardship). I also particularly like their focus on Rhône varieties, including those lesser known to Americans. This flagship white always delivers: great tropical fruit, minerality, and verve, all for around fifteen bucks? Yowza. Very nice.
60% grenache Blanc, 32% vermentino, 8% clairette. Decanted. Now 45 min after decant. Aromas of flowers, nuts, mild honeysuckle, beeswax, unripe peaches, mild bitter herbs. Palate w waxy mouthfeel, unripe peaches, flowers w bitter herbal edge. Full bodiesld and low acid. Floral, peach, bitter medicinal finish. It's good and well made. But the low acid combined w floral bitter edge doesn't do it for me. Continues my impression that I'm not s fan of grenache blanc.

Lovely yellow apple nose to it. Bill notes its intense florality. With allot of texture on the palate. Bill notes a kinda beery or hefawissen kinda thing about it.

After reading the reviews I used this to braise some pork belly. After sampling the wine, I think it was a smart choice.

Vraiment pas très bon ce millésime. Manque de fruits , trop d’alcool. Disjoint.

Poor QPR at $10! Flabby, bitter, metallic and just not very good. Was a Garagiste mystery wine and I'm sorry I bit.

Nice nose of chalk, talc. Palate tricky. Very like a white Cotes du Rhone, which is not my thing. A bit insipid and short finish. Poor value.

Screw cap, 13.something % abv
I like the acidity the clairette component brings. Lightly viscous on palate, lovely southern fruit
At same price as the red, this is a much better buy

Warmer, better, and opening up a bit more. Golden apple, baking spices, more warmth if you will. Much more in harmony when a touch warmer.
