A fuller Burgundian style of Santorini. The nose is that of flint, lemon and butter. Lemons, flinty volcanic minerals, butter and some salinity. Clearly different take on Santorini, which is fuller and not so focused on the salinity. Good minerality shines throughout, backed up by good acidity. Good long finish. This provides great value once again at 30 euros. Also, I feel this 2020 is at a great point right now

Sharp, clear, golden color. Citrusy nose. Medium to full body, great depth and complexity. This is just so good! Good for sipping or with food. Great value for the price. Will keep.

Light golden yellow with a sharp smokey minerally lemon zest and grapefruit nose. Quite a lot of dry extract on the midpalate where there is some density viscosity and power from this young Assyrtiko. Well balanced and very satisfying although lacking the focus of the very best examples. From 80 year old vines and from BTG at Japanese Grill, Beaverbrook, Surrey (UK)

Gaia wines tasting (Oinoscent): Sampled at Oinoscent, bottles courtesy of winery The wine is tight, flint, more structured but also tighter than Thalassitis 2020. Palate with more depth, higher flint/smoke notes, citrus, lemon, high acidity, long finish. Feels promising

This wine was flinty, with some lemon, grapefruit and herbal notes, high acidity. Paired well with salmon, green vegetables and dill!

Ripe apples, flowers, herbs, citrus. Long, complex, elegant. Good acidity all the way. With shellfish or enjoy on it's own.
