Brownish maroon with a thick strip of transparent lining that gradually gains color as you approach the core. Flavors of black tea, pepper, cardamom, earth, and toasted oak. This is good, but I'm not jumping up and down. Decent and approachable, but I wouldn't buy again, even if it's under $20. Drink now.

Ruby in colour with a textbook sour cherry nose. Round, well balanced but single dimensional also on the palate, this one is a well made, simple Chianti to match a variety of Italian dishes.

First glass felt acidic and light. Gets better over time, greasy food helps. Lacks the leather- coffee aromas that characterize splendid Chianti. However, nice low budget alternative.

Wonderful Chianti. Paired with grilled strip steaks was a perfect match. Color is an intense ruby red. The tannin and acid were perfectly balanced, which made for a very smooth taste.

Dark color. Full bodied. Approachable. Cherry notes. Good value. Had at Marriott Houston while watched Yankees win World Series.

Lacked depth and a bit herbal on the finish.

A great QPR. A bit New world style: heavy and full bodied. I tasted cherry and coffee in it. Lingers for a while.
