Tart tart tart tart tart. This is objectively a well made wine, but the combination of tartness, saline, and acidity demands a food pairing that I didn't find with this bottle.

Pale straw with a little Spritz. The nose is starting to show a little rosary development. There is a strong lemon and salty mineral edge. Palate has slight sweet fruit. High spritz and a definite acid backbone. More lemon carrying through on the palate. A nice clean, light fresh wine.

A kind of quiet palate of ocean spray and sweet herbs. Lots of yellow apples, and salinity on the palate with some pleasant effervescence. Nice, brisk with some mouth puckering qualities. Need to drink more Txakolina to give a real opinion on how it compares to others.

This wine is pale yellow in hue and there appears to be some very small bubbles in glass, but they settled after a few minutes. Its aromas include green apple and lemon. On the palate, it is crisp and refreshing with zippy acidity. I expected more spritz or effervescence from the bubbles, but it’s not noticeable. It is bone dry and light-bodied with low alcohol and no discernible bitterness. Incredibly enjoyable wine and perfect for summer sipping with a cheese plate.

Pale, lots of gas fizzes off the wine. Light fruit nose green apple and unripe rhubarb. Light, tart, mineral, subtle fruit.
