Still not worth the money, but getting better. Maybe if I had more and more time, I would get this wine someday. I still think I am paying for the label, but admittedly it is getting more complex and more of a serious white wine. Still very vibrant flavors and acidity.

Ditto last note. Still don't get this wine and its price. Maybe intended to start drinking many years from now? Nothing wrong with it, but drinks like. a $30 Italian Chard.

Not sure I understand this wine. To me it does not reflect it's lofty price. Maybe it's still young, or maybe it's over the hill. Will reserve final judgment for the last two bottles which I am going to save for some years. Right now, not very pleasant. The one thing we all agreed on is it has an oily character, which some found pleasant, and to other was off-putting.

Madonna di Campilio Ski Trip; 2/3/2011-2/5/2011: Would suggest decanting this wine at this stage as it evolved nicely in the glass and smoothed out vs the first taste. Lots of vanilla, oak, on the nose. Dense wine, lots of presence on the palate and its one to try to understand. This , we agree with the comment below, is one of the best chardonnay's around. Superb and it can easily last 5yrs plus and it will continue to improve. 95+

FWG Lunch with Gaia Gaja (Ai Fiori Restaurant in the Langham Place Hotel, NYC): [Brought by Gaia. Pop and pour.] Stunning nose of slate, lemon crème brûlée, and a bit of peach. Expansive in the mouth. Just starting to show its stuff. Should continue to improve for another decade. 94-96
