Decanted 2hrs. Started off with some funkiness on the nose... But flavor was clean. Soft blend of sour cherry and plum. No tannins left. May have peaked.

Not ready on first night -- too oaky and coarse. Tried it again on third day and it was the rich, dark wine I remembered. Wonderful structure that provides long finish with lift. Seems to have lots of life left.

Poured through the vinturi and decanted for 30 minutes. The nose is consumed with spice and now what might be turning into some dried fruit. This is drinking very well right now, the spice turns to leather flavors in the mouth but coats very well and has a nice creamy texture, with a nice medium finish - well integrated tannins.

Opened and poured (sat in the bottle for about 30 minutes; no decant). Good dusty/dirty scent on the nose with lush dark cherries, cocoa and spice. Oak is present on the mid-palate as is some spice. Texture is lush and velvety with a medium finish. Not too complex, but it did continue to open up and evlove as it sat longer in the glass. Tannins are present but not overwhelming. May not evolve more with cellar time, but may become even smoother. Has another 3-5 years of cellar life in it, but drinking quite nice now.

Medium dark ruby colored, nose of plum and candied, somewhat extracted fruit with vanilla oak. One dimensional mixed fruit flavors having a mild degree of richness dominate this wine, but very quickly fade on the mid to back pallet into dust and some integrated tannins. Little rough around the edges. Leaves me wishing for more depth and a longer experience.

Allowed three-hour decant. Great range across the palette - dusty, mineral and spicy. We consumed with a 2003 Poetry from Cliff Lede and it was only slightly less spectacular...

This was wonderful after a 3 hour decant. Rich nose of baking spices, cardamon and blue fruits. Could sniff that all night. On the palate it was rich and warm with classic Stags Leap fruit, a touch of cinnamon, cocoa and plum. Beautiful balance with tannins and acid making it sing. Not overblown but hedonistic. Yum.

What can I say. Another fantastic offering from Cliff Lede. By far the best wine out there at this price point. Black cherry and black currant aromas cascade from the glass with a full bodied yet elegant mouth feel with some red fruit and chocolate flavors present. The finish is long and smooth with more chocolate and red berries. Delicious.

Decanted 3 hours prior to serving. Classic deep purple cab color leads to a nose of graphite, black cherry, and currant. The palate carries those flavors forward while adding a nice underlayer of vanilla and cocoa. The finish lasts 30 seconds. A very enjoyable bottle of wine. This is clearly my favorite of the single vineyard offerings from Cliff Lede. Will drink remaining bottle in 5 years.

Wonderful cali cab. Needs more time in the bottle but I couldn't wait. A lot going on here nice fruit not a lot of tanins but still needs some bottle time.

Slow to open up, but was delicious. Dark red fruits, leather and spice. Restrained compared to most other CA cabs.

Lot's of dark fruit, leather, cocoa and cigarbox. Very pleasant, not overdone, just right.

Wonderful wine. Well structured and elegant. Good purity of fruit lying on a bed of well rounded tannins. Finishes gracefully.
