Opened on Sunday and finished on Saturday. It only faded a little in that time. Deep dark color. Dark fruits on the nose. Nice acidity with lamb chops on first day. Fruit continues on the palate with a nice long finish. Great Aussie shiraz

I liked several aspects of this wine. Complex and pleasant aromas. Smooth dark fruit, licorice, olive, and a hint of coffee on the finish. It is big, and 16% alcohol can be a bit assertive. I am curious as to how this would drink if given a couple of years to rest.

Blind tasting of five 2020 syrahs, testing how drinkable young syrahs are. This was the favorite among 16 tasters in our wine group, beating Sine Qua Non Distenta II, Cayuse Bionic Frog, a Graillot Crozes-Hermitage, and Liminal Block 16, all considerably more expensive. This was dark garnet-purple, with their typical huge shiraz and oak nose of dark cherries, plums and blackberries; thick, rich and concentrated dark fruits on the palate, tannins in the background, a "smashmouth" wine but very enjoyable now. Kudos to Sarah! Ric
Coravin by the glass. Blackberry, black plum, blueberry, bramble and spice aromas and flavors. Fruit forward style with a very long finish. Dense and full bodied. A good QPR. Served with steak fajitas.

Did the Mollydooker shake. Compared the pre shake pour to post. Both my wife and I noted a difference. Deep dark color. Blueberry and dark fruit with some oak. Smooth tannins. Great with grilled lamb and on its own.

Blueberries with a huge note of vanilla and cedar on the nose. Blueberries, vanilla, cedar, and alcoholic spice on the flavor. Mouthfeel is medium-plus with medium acidity and medium-plus tannins mostly from the oak. Overall, its an oak monster with a high level of alcohol. If that’s your style, you’ll enjoy it. If not, stay away.

Coravin by the glass. Nose of ripe blackberry, black plum, spice, vanilla and bramble. Ripe black fruit, spice and bramble on the palate. Very long finish. Dense and full bodied. Very good QPR. Served with grilled tuna steak.

There are few if any better value wines. You are getting far more value for your dollar. Let this age for a few years and omg. Really good wine Have been following Mollydooker for over 15 vintages
Make sure you do the shake and double decant. Buckle up And brush your teeth,,,, you are going to have the biggest smile on your face.

Smoked meat nose with load of bright red fruits. Layers of funky black cherry with a lot of meaty notes, methanol, and black olives. Plump, pliable tannins with wallop of red and blue fruit dissolving into an lengthy and earthy finish. Nicely done, though obviously not subtle.

The wine has a clean nose of eucalyptus and cherry fruit. Don't let the nose fool you as this is an alchohol driven bomb. On the palette there's are fruits of blueberry, flavors of chewing tobacco leaf, chocolate and bell pepper. Powerful and full bodied but the finish is overly lingering.

vanilla, vanilla all the way. This is fruit-forward with blackcurrant, blackberry, milk chocolate on palate, soft tannins, not as acidic as I think I'd like. I've enjoyed this wine for a decade - it's not for everyone but consistent for me.

Popped and poured. Aromas of ripe blackberry, black plum, bramble and vanilla. Bleck fruit, bramble and spice on the palate. Mouth coating with a lingering finish. Dense and full bodied. Served with goulash.

Purchased after a recent Wine Spectator 92 point recommendation. Tasted after nearly a 2 hour decant. Dark ruby in colour with lovely aromas of sweet black fruit, floral, black olive tapenade with a hint of cured meat. On the palate, full bodied, full bore black fruit, cassis/blueberry/blackberry dominant, milk chocolate, floral, well integrated oak, high acidity, medium, relatively soft tannins with a medium to long finish to intense black pepper. This wine is definitely high test Aussie Shiraz, & probably not for the elegant Syrah lovers. The ABV 16% is over the top, & the flavour is not particularly complex, but it is enjoyable.

On the nose - pepper In the palate - Full bodied, jammy, single dimensional, velvet, high alcohol burning at the back of my throat. Minimal peppery finish.
Tried on the second day. Surprisingly better balanced. Kinda regret not decanting this bottle properly in the first day. Probably too young and ripe for optimal

Clear, very deep ruby. Massive tears, obviously. Clean nose with pronounced intensity. Black cherry, bramble, basil, eucalyptus. Wiff of alcohol, but still some freshness, not overly ripe. Bit of cedar, bit of chocolate. Dry on the palate. High acidity, medium tannin, high alcohol, full-bodied. Pronounced flavours of bramble, black cherry, black plum, mint. Perhaps coffee. Flavours are less complex than aromas, dominated by black fruit. Alcohol is noticeable. Finish is only medium length. Overall quality is good.

Ripe, rich plum & cherry fruit. Sweet but has a good balance with some oak that props it up along with some tannins. Little smok on the finish. If you don’t like ripe fruit forward style, this is probably not for you.
This is always a good Shiraz, but this is probably the best recently.

Great restaurant value. Dark purple color. Massive depth with vanilla, spice, and amaranth. Long finish. Easy drinking even at 16% OH. Perfect wine for tonight @ 60+ degrees on a June night in Lake Placid!
