  • Rather dark for the producer, reddish; atypically the nose was furry, but interesting and with some underbrush; cherries, more underbrush – and still furry on the palate. Fresh acidity and some dusty tannins, moderate length. Very decent bottle, particularly in view of the vintage.

  • At Caduff's Wine Bar, Zurich. The nose shows some bottle sweetness, which carries over to the palate. Sweet Nebbiolo fruit, floral, light musk. The palate is lean, the tannins still providing structure and are slightly drying. The wine comes across as mature, though not overly complex, yet thoroughly enjoyable. A better vintage would have made this wine richer and more complex, but this wine is still very good and very pleasing. B.
