Great balance. Dark red fruit but not jammy, with a complex blend of licorice, stone and earth. Nice acidity but not overpowering, medium tannins, not at all grippy.

Deep ruby red. Baking spices and cassis on the nose followed up by some cedar and leather. Medium plus tannins (7/10) with a full body. Dark fruit on the palate with drying tannins with dried herbs and cedar. Long finish. Drink till 2038.

dark purple and full-bodied. alcohol blows thru to give way to high-toned red and dark fruit laced with cedar, graphite, smoke, and herbal whiffs. smooth and silky in the mouth, it is still a bit reticent, with a subtle sweetness on entry that then opens into brighter fruit flavours. layers of accents begin to reveal themselves, anchored by very ripe and polished tannins. very good balance and long finish.
approaching drinkability now with a good decant, and with a long life ahead.
14.8% AbV; from three distinctive growing regions; fermented in small stainless tanks; aged for twenty-two months in French oak (85% new)

Cabernet (Mike's): Decanted a couple hours and it probably needed 8 hours, or open in 2029+. Very tannic, green and lots of blueberry. Hold.
