A strong candidate for the B-team House Chard behind Beringer Reserve at $33... quite lovely and only $20. It has the Chard palette of flavors without anything sticking out... oak subtle and in balance. We like this one.

This is a creamy, toasty, somewhat buttery wine. Classic big Napa Chardonnay with somewhat muted primary flavors and a nice acidic backbone holding it together. The oak is definitely present but balanced.

Light golden yellow in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of apples, lemons/limes & some pears with overtones of minerals & a slight hint of oak. Medium light bodied with a good concentration of balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of apples, lemons/limes & grapefruit with minerals, spices & a hint of oak. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present & could possibly develop further with a year or two of additional aging. Very good QPR when found at discount.

Some apple, peach, oak vanilla at nose and palate, mild acidity, short-medium aftertaste.

Good value party wine. Nice fruit, not an oak bomb.
