Wow. Densely fruited with soft lees: hay, orchard fruit. On the palate: lovely acidity and density, fantastic depth. Lovely fruit and a long finish. Gorgeous stuff.

The creaminess of the lees aging is countered by lightness, and an exceptionally balanced acidity. Chamomile creeps into the palette, but the intense savoriness and spice have their chorus. A flinty, sheened quality pervades. Lovely stuff.

White and yellow fruits, minerals, hay and citrus in the bouquet. On the palate minerals, tight and focused with good acidity, a touch of bitterness and a great length. 92+

Sancerre vs Pouilly-Fumé (K&L Wine Merchant - Redwood City): Some sort of white berries on the nose with white and orange-yellow flowers. Very lifted floral aromas accompanied by a gentle sweetness from some pears. This has a nice perfume to it.
Palate showed clean pear notes, a thick but light honey note, gentle spice on the finish with sparkly minerals. A gentle tree bark note and straw as well.
Loved the fruit on this. Second favorite of the lineup.
Just delicious. Beautifully ripe, almost exotic, and at the same time, nervy, steely acid with a hint of lemon zest. I'll save the other bottle for a few years if I can keep my hands off it.

Superb. Elegant and ethereal. Absolutely none of that Sauvignon Blanc cut grass nonsense. It's all citrus fruit and minerals. Pomelo, grapefruit, ocean air, salinity, matchstick, lemongrass, and fresh rain. Flawlessly balanced, so easy to drink without being cloying or sweet. A full mouthfeel with broad flavors and a long, piquant finish. Stellar!

SLDS July 2022: Lemon, vanilla, light herbs on the nose. Plenty of rich flavour on the palate, clean acidity and good length. Approachable already in a clean, pure style.

Straw color. Aromas of lemon, grapefruit, honey, flint, smoke. Wine is dry with high acidity, creamy, tight, concentrated, long. Suitable for cellaring.
