  • Good at the price point.

Fairly rich bouquet. Deep black currants, bell pepper and pencil shavings. Rather notable over-abundance of oak aromas persisting but not offensively so.

The wine falls apart some on the palate, reading as slightly angular and ungainly, with slightly abrasive, immature tannin and zesty acidity.

The aromatics on display far outclass the palate here, but overall, a nice, inoffensive weekday quaff.
