Small to medium bubbles on this yellow fruited medium bodied sparkling wine from Sonoma. Labeled as disgorged in late 2022 not more than a year ago, with no mention of base vintage. Peach and honeyed melon and kumquat, finishing with a small amount of tart yellow fruit. Made in Methode Champenoise, this is a surprising sparkling wine from Sonoma that is VERY decently priced and goes well with peanuts, fruit, charcuterie, or with an afternoon of kicking things around with the dudes.

What a great first foray into sparkling wine! Opened New Years Morning, the Sojourn Brut has taken on a light golden hue and is bursting with notes of crisp apple, warm toast mixed with pear and lemon and a pleasantly fine mousse that coats the palate. The finish is persistent with a lovely minerality.

This has come together in just a few months, becoming more Champagne-like. More concentrated, with lively minerality, lemon spritz, oyster shells. Not as cidery as my first Pobega'd bottle. Pleasantly surprised by where this is going.
46% Chardonnay, 46% Pinot Noir, 8% Pinot Meunier • Dosage: 0.8% • Time in Tirage: 33 months • Disgorged February 2022

First bottle of this Sojourn sparkling wine. Pretty darn nice, this has quite a bit going on. Pale yellow in color, a bit lighter than apple cider opacity. Crisp Macintosh apple, pear, with a fine, creamy mousse.

Birthday and graduation dinner with family. Very tasty, especially compared to a more generic Argyle sparkling wine, lots of champagne character.

Not my favorite. Not dry enough. Flat on taste.

Tastings at Bedrock, Sojourn, Extradimensional Wine Co Yeah!; 10/10/2022-10/12/2022 (Sonoma): Love this wine. Impressive for a first sparkling offering. Sojourn has made great wine from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir for so long, so it shouldn't be surprising. Balanced and complex.
