The 2 other tasting notes are on point. Beautiful maple syrup color, very thick and syrupy as well. Intense nose/taste of sun-dried raisins and figs. Some buckwheat honey and aromatic wood (sandalwood?) as well.

on the basis of appearance, one may confuse this for maple syrup: solid amber colour and very thick and viscous in the glass. the nose is dominated by aromas of raisins and dried figs, but also has good whiffs of quince paste, dark honey, and orange marmalade, amid floral traces of jasmine and honeysuckle. in the mouth is sweet, unctuous and rich, with a subtle acidity lending citric overtones to the sweetness.
it does not have the richness or the complexity of the "Sacristía" or "Solera" releases, but it's enjoyable in numerous ways and perhaps more versatile. it was great with blue and super rich/ripe cheeses; was also great with mixed nuts, some salted, some not; by itself; with some rich desserts; and even as topping for cheesecake.
keeps extremely well for a handful of weeks when vacu-vin'd in a dark corner of the fridge.

Good introduction to PX at a great price (Costco). Intense, versatile, viscous and yummy with a long finish. Pace yourself.

Thick, syrupy, raisins, figs, sandalwood, orange peel, buttery mouthfeel. Can be quite cloying; to be enjoyed in moderation.

Buttered wood, sultana raisin, bergamot tea, and slight ethanol heat on the nose. Syrupy sweet palate with good replays and length.
