A whiff of butterscotch immediately after opening...but not in the Cali Chard sense. Very elegant and silky, yet with good Chablis cut and acidity. Lemon, saline, white flowers, and some tropical notes. As other have noted, this is wonderful now, but will drink well for many years yet. Easily 92-93.

Intense nose of citrus/lemon, salt, stones. There’s real depth here, purity of fruit, a great saline, mineral character. This appears youthful, plenty of life left. Wonderful, STGT Chablis

Nose starts with some reduction but also showing a wonderful and bright citrus vein - some orange and orange peel and lemon. Palate has nice grip and peach pit - very bitter with iodine - Shells. This is cut and citrus and minerally. Lovely. Nose - 5.5/6, Palate - 5/6, Finish - 5/6, Finish - 1-1.5/2 = 16.5-17/20.
Day 4: Wow this is good. Nose is chewy and showing some salty popcorn and minwrals, iodine, lemon and lemon peel and some orange peel, chalky or slatey or steely, talc or somehtjny with texture, very bright and sharp in a good way. Palate is excellent as well - salty minerlas with lemon, great grip. Really lively and potent with some Iodine. Nearly explosive as it goes into the long and saline finish with hints of the iodine and lemon. Nose - 5.5/6, Palate - 5.5/6, Finish - 5.5/6, Finish - 1.5/2 = 18/20.

Disappointing to me. Yellow fruit--lemons, apples--some cream, but lacks definition and could use more acid. Just a hint of minerality. Not really 1er cru level from a good vintage.

Really nice wine. Tropical fruits with a hint of stone fruits. No hard edges. Light and airy. Great mouthfeel and good finish. Everyone loved this. 94+

Stunning Chablis. Reductive, chalky, waxy, with lovely acid. Has a nice silky/round texture from the age. Drinking fantastic now but should hold up for 5+ more years. Drink from 2023-2028.
Had this side by side with Les Lys and served with sushi.
On the nose: tropical fruit notes, pineapples and mangoes come through.
On the palate: the same creaminess as Les Lys but a fuller body, not a lot of fruit come through but the texture here shines through. I'm a bigger fan of Les Lys, the fruit comes through a bit more and is balanced by the minerality. The fruit in les Vaillons is a bit faded and we're on secondary and tertiary notes here.

Two consistent bottles from restaurant list in London. Another excellent 2010 Chablis. Pale lemon yellow, still very fresh with excellent delineation and good minerality. Very nice with the seafood ordered.

Light yellow color. Salty, lemony nose. Poised and precise fruit, expressive, marks of salty ocean, citrus, green apples and stones. Impressive wine, great cut. Tasted at the domaine.

Mostly lemon with a touch of salinity. Razor sharp acidity, needs a lot more time. Didn't find this particularly enjoyable.

Excellent Chablis….very complex with an almost tannin like structure offsetting all the typical fruit and minerality…

1er cru chablis, rubber and barn on the nose. A bigger boy than your average lean Chablis, leaning more towards Montrachet.
